I am very disappointed with the anti-bot plugin, which promised protection from bots. However, its functionality turned out to be extremely limited and insufficient for a real fight against bots. The only thing it offers is a database with 10 million IP addresses of bots, geoblocks and antiproxy.

First of all, a database with 10 million bot IP addresses sounds impressive, but in practice it turned out to be ineffective. Bots are constantly changing their IP addresses, and this database does not have time to update, which makes it useless in the long run.

Geoblock and antiproxy are not even worthy names for the antibot functionality. They are simple filters that block access from certain geographical regions and proxy servers. These are far from new and innovative methods of fighting bots, and many modern plugins offer much more complex and effective solutions.

Overall, the antibot plugin turned out to be a big disappointment. Its limited functionality does not provide adequate protection against bots, and I strongly recommend looking for more advanced and reliable alternatives.

What decent plugins are available? You should even type the word "Bebrcaware" on YouTube, and you will see your bots in action. But your plugin is better than everyone who came to us from Evolution and Bebrcaware clients. We personally enter all the source data of the proxy server for automatic addition to the database.

I agree, the functionality of the plugin is quite modest, but how do you know what functionality our API server has?

Why are you not satisfied with the protection against geoblocks? What are the methods of protection on pure. Do you know Spigot and do you want it to be suitable for all servers?

I would like you to write your suggestions for improving my plugin.
It looks like you haven't tested my plugin at all, because if an attack occurs on the server, I immediately see it.

terrible plugin. you can just take the proxy of the desired country and the plugin will skip them. also by forbidding certain countries to play you lose online

Why do you say that the plugin will skip bots from proxy lists if you haven't tested the plugin?. The plugin is configured for countries from the European part, and if you study who is playing on your server, you can easily customize the list of allowed countries for yourself.

After a simple check, the protocol is taken that it does not completely cover the server . API is on free hosting . Used a free proxy as well as bots to check for the plugin on my server. Bottom line: the server is loaded with 6 cores and 14 GB of RAM, and 1000 bots with TPS 5 are placed on the server. I do not recommend this add-on to anyone!

Hello, in the configuration, it was first indicated to allow players with RU UA KZ BY in whitelist mode. This was the optimal setting to protect the server from bots, but for some reason you set a blacklist, and bots from other countries started logging on to the server without checking which country they are from?. Also, the API is located on 5 hosting sites in different locations, which provides maximum coverage and the best ping to all servers, would you pay money for a VDS every month with a load of only 10-20% of the CPU? I think not. I also didn't understand what protocol was in question. Protocol 340? asyncPreLoginEvent protocol? If you are talking about it, then it covers all connections to the server. Other methods of protection would simply not allow you to organize a panel of Aternos or other free hosting.
