Never really rate plugins, but this is one of only two plugins I have ever purchased (the other being an AC so slightly required) and I have never regretted it. The plugin has absolutely everything you could ever need for a PvP server. Thank you for keeping this plugin up all of these years!

Honestly, I’ve been using the free version of PvPManager for years, so recently I decided to get the paid version in order to support the developer. The plugin is great, it has all of the necessary features to help you properly manage combat on your server and it isn’t bloated with ton of useless features. Although we don’t have a lot of players in combat at once, performance is also on point - you won’t really notice the plugin taking a lot of resources.

The only downside is probably support being a little slower than usual, but that’s understandable, especially considering it’s summer. Most of the time, you won’t really need any external help as long as you throughly read all of the comments in the config file & the stuff on the wiki. The only exceptions are probably some edge case scenarios, but I’d say they happen pretty rarely. In terms of updates, they don’t happen as often, but I’d say there isn’t really a need for frequent updates if there aren’t any bugs or issues. Overall, PvPManager is quite the bulletproof solution and a great choice for anyone looking for a combat manager without a thousand features you won’t end up using!

plugin is incredibly unstable in production environments. crashed a ~160 player server twice in less than 24 hours, this isnt the first time we've had issues either. gonna drop this after 6 months of usage

I've been using this plugin for over years now and it's amazing. Issues are fixed fast, ignore the bad reviews. They're simply ignorant on how to run a server optimally

The plugin has bugs!! Many people reported them! But the developer just ignored this plugin! The bugs are not being fixed!! The bug with NPC not spawning on 1.19.3 has not been resolved for 2.5 months already!! Why make the plugin paid then?

Not worth the money. No support and the placeholder for pvp mode is bugged. That was the main reason I "upgraded" to the premium version. Very dissapointed.

When the dev was active it was a good and fun plugin to have, since then the dev doesnt seem to care about it, no response in his discord server both tickets and general chat, avg(2,576.87ms per - 1.33ms/0.00 per tick), literally freezes the server every time someone joins for a couple of seconds the moment the server hits 16+ players

This combat plugin is perfect for large networks, I highly recommend it. And the support is very good.

Very cool plugin. I use it on my SMP server so players can toggle PvP. Maybe you could add a "keep inventory on death chance" in the configuration :). I would love to see this feature.

Pvp is disabled by default for players by default, even if you have it enabled in the configuration the plugin disables it and there is no way to enable it if it is not by command, fix that and I will give it 5 stars. that users enter with pvp enabled by default

Best pvp-toggle plugin so far. Would be lovely to have PlaceholderAPI support build in so I can show players pvp status on the tab list or sidebar of my server without having to write the script myself.

Used this plugin as long as I can remember - it works better than any other pvp toggling plugin out there! Unfortunately, the developer isn't very active anymore, and performance is poor on 1.13.x.

I have a bug with messages.properties: Newbie_Command_Blocked Does not work, I change and it loads the sentence by default.

Greatest PVP plugin out there, without all graphic stuff like nametags or glowing effects it works really well, only lacks in quality pve control

The author of the plugin is inactive, there are many bugs and when you hit alone with the bow does not enter into combat.

This plugin solved "PVP or PVE?" problem for my server. I was confused a bit by WorldGuard region flags at first (forgot PVP flag was set for global). Really great plugin!

Works great so far. Does it's job and I like the red highlight around the player that attacks you. Pretty cool. Thanks!

This is just great. Lot's of tears have fallen on the keyboard's when combat logging for sure....

But what's been missed on our server is the k/d ratio logging? We had a plugin that had the feature in the distant past, and it got really popular amongst the PvP'ers. This would really nail PvP Manager if it got implemented. :) Thanks for a great plugin. Worth every moneypenny!

This plugin is great. Got tired of having to explain the "opt-in" pvp system my server uses. With a little bit of configuration, players can chose to participate in pvp or not, with relative ease. Love it.

Ive used your plugin before the free one, i didnt mind buying this cause i used the free one along time ago. I install this plugin, have it all setup. But the inventories get glitched, players cant move items in their inventory. After turning off all the settings, I still get random players inventory glitch, and it can't be fixed, pvp turned off, they relog and nothing. The only way i think it might get fixed is if i restart the server. I wanted to use this plugin but ill just use a free one. I really hope this plugin gets better .

This plugin works perfectly. I've used it for over a year now, and the developer has been active and helpful the entire time. My players and I trust it to manage PVP on the server and configuration allows me to tweak it to do exactly as I need. I'm really surprised to come on here and see all the negative reviews below me, I have never had a problem with this plugin.

The resource is not maintained. Have been trying to get support for weeks, the author hasn't responded on skype nor' anything else.

Very good plugin and development. Author responds in comprehensible ammounts of time. Issues with the plugin are few (They do exist, however are solved relatively quickly)

We used your Plugin now long time in the free Version, too, so the player can freely choose whether PvP / PvE . The Premium version has convinced me and is always up to date ... and I hope that this remains in the distant future.

The author is inactive, he doesn't maintain his plugin anymore letting you struggle with all the bugs that he refuses to fix. Don't buy this plugin !!

Really good and efficient plugin. Does what it says.

It needs some quick updates with the following features though:
- Adding a cooldown on things such as money reward/penalty & commands on death
- Adding a placeholder with player names usable on commands on death
- An API with methods like "isPlayerInCombat" (! HIGHLY NEEDED !)

Could you either add EchoPet support, or go simple and add commands that execute when a player goes into combat?
I could have the player execute "/pet remove" when they go into combat, to prevent them from using them as an escape.
