Great plugin, but also really quick support from the author. But I do notice that the plugin was made almost a decade ago, it's not very modern, as there are inconsistency in hex color support from text chat and the GUI. Some GUI items do not work unless they start with &r for example.

Never made a review for any plugin I have purchased but I had to for this one. Installation to the velocity was straight forward, easy to use and quick to setup to a database.

The main reason I am writing this review is to say the support on the discord was amazing. The fastest I've seen from any plugin author. I had mistakenly purchased the spigot only one. I paid the difference and gained this resource hassle free.

Simonsator is a great author and great at support. Definitely buy this if you have a large or even small network of players. Makes the player experience much better.

This is probably the best friends/party plugin you'll find on the internet which supports almost all server softwares! The developer is extremely friendly and helped me do what I wanted even though that was specific to my own server and other developers probably would not have helped me with it. The support is quick and the best part is you can get the source code of the plugin so you can customize it to your liking! Definitely a 5/5 for me. I would recommend this plugin to anyone who wants a lightweight yet flexible and highly customizable friends/party system.

I want to be fair to the plugin cause it's helped me when I literally had no other option but also critizise some aspects that I didn't like throughout my 1 or 2 years of using it.

First things first: I run multiple Velocity proxies and several paper servers behind those proxies and this plugin, back at the time, was the only one that supported multiple Velocity proxies (through RedisBungee).

Which brings me to my first little issue, payments. Every little aspect of this plugin is monetized. You want to be able to toggle private messages? Pay for it, you want some other little feature, pay for it, you want this plugin to begin with, pay for it. While this isn't a problem in itself, it does become one when the features are lacking and suggestions are (even to this day) not a priority at all! And even more so, if a free plugin implemented the same functionality before this one although I suggested it there later!

I have entirely switched to a free plugin by now and I've unfollowed this resource and I'm no longer using it at all.

The real issues I encountered while using PAF:
1. Sometimes you simply can't create a party or message someone who's on another proxy for seemingly no reason. The plugin thinks they're offline and to this day I have no idea why that is. Once again, free plugin has not had any such issues to this day but then again it also runs on the backend servers and NOT the proxy.
2. My suggestion regarding auto completing names across proxies hasn't been done anything about to this day, it's still somewhere on the Discord with no reaction that I can recall. Free plugin has it already.
3. Not a huge problem but still one I can see: Running on the proxy is not always ideal, especially when dealing with chat. If you toggle PMs for example, cancelling messages is not really intended on Velocity. Although it's possible, it comes with its own downsides or rather overhead (extra plugins required).

The positives:
1. The support is good and fast. Although I'd appreciate a Discord server and not just private messages on Discord, the support itself was always quick and to the point.

I hope that gives people a good overview of what to expect.

1. It is difficult to configure and there are no documented procedures
2. The translation file overwriting the original file causes plug-in errors
3. use the plugin can cause full servers produce a serious lag
4. use redisbunnger not documented,install redisbunnger can make this plugin disable normal use and not any error reported
so this plugin is the can't be used at all

A relly nice Plugin for having Frends, make Partys.
Is relly configuarble you can edit all to fit you needs.
And have a lot of nice Addons that are free, and ads bedrock support to!

One think I hate that a lot of Plugins have Partys and only one can mange them... Maybe you can add Unite Support for server Admins like me they wish to sincronize all Partys.

Unites is an API like Vault for Economy but for Partys.

This plugin from simonsator is an amazing piece of software to improve the experience for players on any server. Players get the opportunity to connect to eachother in many ways. The plugin runs very well and has no bugs. The GUI is beautiful too. I had been stupid to buy the wrong version first but simonsator quickly (Within 2 minutes an answer!) helped me and offered me a solution. He is kind at all times and very helpful. This plugin is the best solution if you want a friends and/or party plugin for your network.

The plugin is amazing and the support is even better! Would recommend and worth the money!

Junk plugin. The config files are messy and if you want to change the GUI you need to restart the server each time. It looks horrible by the way. Sometimes changes do not apply at all or is missing from the config. The /friend settings <option> command can only be used as the player ingame for some reason, super annoying. And don't get me started on the 50 plugins that you can install that should be included by default.

Excellent plugin and also an excellent support from the developer. I recommend this plugin for everyone.

This plugin is the best Party And Friends plugin I have found on Spigot.
The support is perfect, the author is active and answers most of the time in less than 4 hours on the Discord.

On the other hand I find that some configuration options are missing in the menus such as certain lore or certain item name.
And I also find it a shame that the suggestions are not made in order (Some suggestions asked 1 month ago were made before suggestions asked more than a year ago), and not received responses.

This plugin is good but the advantage of the paid version is to have a gui menu and unfortunately the menu in question is not fully configurable as desired (it is not possible to create several lore lines ...)

I of course asked the author of the plugin if he could change that but it would obviously not be good to change it ...

This is a very nice plugin, but i have a little Problem with the Friends Gui.
I want to translate it by myself but i cant use Characters like ä, ö, ü und no UniCode Symbols which is very annoying und makes the Gui look ugly. And JavaCodes for Unicode Symbols dont work either. If you know a solution pls help me. (I am German, so if you are German you can write in German).

Party and Friends is a very detailed and comprehensive plugin, it does the job that I previously used two different plugins for. The extensions are also very useful as they allow for the adding of additional features apart from the main plugin (which is good as it reduces the base file size).

Lastly this plugin has one huge feature, RedisBungee support.

I would recommend this plugin to any server owners especially ones who are planning to expand in the future as with the RedisBungee support you can expand to a multi proxy network without having to change plugins and lose data (your players friends for example).

Why do you have to pay for Bungee and Spigot? The plugin itself is great, but this I dislike a bit

Ich hab einen Bug gefunden mit MC Version 1.8.8 spigot, wenn jemand auf dem Server joint und ich habe alle Spieler anzeigen wird er mit angezeigt erst wenn ich ein mal nur freunde anzeigen und dann wieder alle anzeigen mache wird er mir wieder angezeigt.
Ich hoffe du fixt den Bug :) Aber sonst bestes PLUGIN!

A really good plugin. Something is just missing... We can disable servers where we can do /party but we can not disable the whole plugin in a server because if I want to do a Practice server with /party I can't use it because PartyAndFriends on BungeeCord is already using the /party thing and it says "This command cannot be executed here" instead of disabling in the server

Since I had no MC Server the last few months, I did not use Party and Friends the last few months, so I love to see what it has become. Back then it was already one of my most loved plugins, but it has definitely become better. I love the new design of the GUI, also I love the new TS Extension. Unlike most other plugins the developer adds new features even after more then 2 years after the initial release. It is definitely worth every penny.

Too pricey ... Sure it works ... but this mainly relies on typing commands and the GUI is more of an addon that still relies on commands for main functions (such as add friends and jump to a player). Still needs more work and too pricey ...

I just want to thank the developer with this review for creating a clan stat for a minigame that I am using. Party and Friends is still awsome, espacilly with clans installed.

This is the BEST friend and party system plugin I've ever seen.
The author tries his best to give us supports, and all replies are in time.

And, for this plugin, both coding and usage are nice. I'm running a 2000 people server now, and players in my server love this plugin very much.

The plugin is definitely a "must" for any network that wants a friend system. However, I think it's a pity that the GUI is so confusing.

Das Plugin lohnt sich auf jedenfall, Die GUI ist echt Super geworden. Das Joinen als Party in eine Gamerunde geht Problemlos. Der DEv hat sich extrem viel Mühe gegeben um ein Partysystem was meiner Meinung nach alle anderen hier schlägt zu entwickeln. Vor allem das es 3 Sachen in einem verbindet Freunde/Party/clans ist Perfekt.

Bei Fragen über Spigot oder auch Skype kommen schnell Antworten.

2. Sehr viele Addons ---> Dazu auch ein Clan-System ----> Wenn man ein Addon vorschlag hat, wird eins Programmiert.

Mega geiles Party und Freunde Plugin. Es wäre noch geil wenn man leute mit einer Permission eine Farbe zuweisen kann, also das ein Supporter z.b. PartyAndFriends.Farbcode.9 zuweißt, und dann im Freundeskull, Friendlist und bei Online und Offline dann der Name in §9 ist.

Das Plugin ist echt so ziehmlich das beste, welches man finden kann.
Sowohl das Plugin als auch der Support/der Entwickler sind Super!

Zusammenfassend kann man eigentlich nur sagen, dass man für diesen Preis absolut nicht meckern kann da wirklich ALLES passt!

Bestes Freunde + Party Plugin! Der Preis hat sich total gelohnt! Musste das Plugin nur draufinstallieren, und kurz was konfigurieren, und ging alles perfekt. Andere FriendSysteme mit GUI haben bei mir nicht funktioniert, das allerdings sofort. Außerdem musste ich das Plugin einfach nur auf Deutsch stellen, und keine Messages ändern!

Lohnt sich wirklich die Extended Version zu kaufen, statt die normale GUI, da die GUI wirklich sehr praktisch und gut ist.

Habe mit Paysafecard bezahlt, und alles lief perfekt, hatte sogar noch mehr drauf, als das Plugin kostet, und ich konnte ihm vertrauen, und er hat nur die 10€ genommen.

Auch der Developer ist sehr nett, und nahezu immer erreichbar, ich bewundere wirklich sehr die Arbeit des Devs!

But can you add TeamSpeak and Discord support like the plugin make a bot that join the teamspeak and discord server if a guy do /p discord (discord name) there will send by the bot a message with 'Is your minecraft name (mc name of command sender)' And than is the discord and minecraft name connected and if you create a party there will create a discord channel where the party users if they do /p discord again and nobody can join the discord only guys in the party. And if you do /f discord (Friend name) you get a private channel Max 2 where you get moved if you do /f leave you leave the call and if you do /f kick (friend name) you kick the guy if you started the call and you can add guys in your call with /f add (friend name) And the same for Teamspeak! Plss add that as exstendion

Es ist sehr gutes plugin aber ich würde es gut finden wen man Freunde Kopf hinzufügt und das man einpaar sachen beim chat anehmen kan zum beispiel beim freunde adden das der andere spieler beim chat drauf klicken kan und die Anfrage animt!

Richtig Gutes Plugin jeden zu empfehlen der eine Friend GUI in der Lobby haben möchte dann aber nur mit den dafür (KOSTENLOSEN) Party and Friend System :)

Echt cooles Plugin und dann noch so günstig. Könnte man es machen das man z.b. die Hide GUI einstellen kann, das man z.b. nur Alle Spieler anzeigen, Team-Mitglieder, YTber und Freunde und alle versteckt? und ich würde es cool finden wenn man noch den Skull ändern könnte wenn ein Freund z.b. Offline ist, das man da eventuell auch den MHF_Question Kopf oder so einfügen könnte. LG

Das Plugin ist mega GUT geworden. Tolle ARBEIT geleistet. ! Nur einen Vorschlag habe ich: Das man die Namen der Spieler im Chat in der Rang Farbe machen kann. Ansonsten mega geil!

Ich muss sagen Das ist etwas was sich lohnt zu kaufen weil dieses plugin sehr sehr gut für server sind und da muss ich sagen das Bestes Plugin :D und mit Mysql ist das auch noch besser :D

Great plugin if your server needs a decent friends plugin. We are running this on a medium sized network (170 players) without any issues.(1.7 and 1.10 servers) Active author, I can fully recommend it.

Only a couple of things I can see wrong without touching the source, if you do /friend list it says "this are your friends" should be "these are your friends" and as far as I can see with my server atleast the Hide players function with GUI doesn't work.

since I am use this plugin for a while now and I love it especially the GUI of the plugin. it is the 5€ definitely worth

Really nice Sup via skype. Didn't tried it out yet but i'm about to install it. If something's wrong, i'll tell you! xD

the Plugin overall is good, but it got some bugs that author is not fixing and reported more times, also it it use over 200 mysql thread on bots attack or when it get bugy, i stoped to use this plugin because of that and author say, use redis.
