☢️ Important Notice: New messages.yml Structure
We’ve completely reorganized the messages.yml file to improve clarity and structure. Before updating, make a full backup of the plugin folder, review the new structure, and migrate according to your preferences.

️ Bug Fixes

1. Inventory Protection:
   Fixed an issue where players’ inventories were deleted upon first joining a server with HoupAuth installed. We’ve introduced a temporary cache to store the state of unauthenticated players, preventing inventory loss due to unexpected disconnections or authentication failures.
   • This cache is automatically cleared upon successful authentication or after 24 hours to optimize server memory usage.
2. Performance Optimization:
   HoupAuth is now lighter and more efficient, with internal improvements that reduce resource consumption and streamline processing.

✨ New Features!
Full Support for Geyser and Bedrock Players!
HoupAuth is now 100% compatible with Bedrock Edition:

• GUI Forms: All authentication interfaces are fully adapted for Bedrock players.
• 2FA Support: Two-factor authentication is fully functional.
• GUI Fallback: If a form fails, the player will fall back to the default Java GUI for a seamless experience.

⚙️ How to Enable Bedrock Support:
Navigate to /plugins/HoupAuth/config.yml, locate the features -> bedrock section, and enable it. Disabled by default.

• Customizable GUI Items
  Personalize the look of your GUI buttons! Enable custom textures in config.yml by setting gui.custom-textures to true. Define textures using base64 or Head Database IDs to match your server's style.
  Location: config.yml → gui: custom-textures
• New Commands
  • /changepin <newpin>
    Players can now change their PIN directly via this command, bypassing the GUI. The GUI option remains available for those who prefer it.
  • /autologin
    Toggle auto-login preferences instantly without navigating the Account GUI.

Changes

• Revamped messages.yml Structure
  We've introduced a dedicated pin section in messages.yml to better organize PIN-related messages, improving clarity and customization options.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed PIN Change Issue in GUI
  Resolved a bug where changing the PIN via the /account GUI allowed the old PIN to remain valid until a server restart. Now, the new PIN takes effect immediately.

⚠️ Update Instructions
HoupAuth includes built-in logic to update internal files automatically. However, to ensure a smooth transition:

1. Back up your current HoupAuth folder.
2. Install the new plugin version.
3. Start the server and check the updated file structure.
4. Review config.yml and messages.yml for new settings.

While you can install the new version and restart directly, we strongly recommend backing up to avoid potential data inconsistencies.
