I bought a lot of plugins. Like 20+(maybe not that a lot). Everytime I want to get help from the dev of each plugin, they mostly dissapointed me with unkind answers. LARKYY(developer of this plugin) is different. He gives me a best support not only about what I was asked but also gives me a future plan and additional opinions. Can't wait for the new version(v3 I mean) of AquaticCrate.

LARKYY is a developer that truly cares about how the plugin can help the player achieve their objectives. For a developer to be directly involved in support with customers is huge, especially in this space. I had a specific issue and a jar was compiled on the spot. Huge appreciation for what he has created and the features keep increasing and scope keeps expanding. Give this another year, and no other crate plugin will stand a chance.

5/5 Best crate plugin out there currently. 10+ Years running servers here, I've used countless crate plugins. All of them felt extremely restrictive as to how far you can customize.

Aquatic Crates allows for full customization down to complete opening animation creation. cinematic cameras and so much more.

While the documentation is continually being updated, many features go undocumented due to the rapid pace at which new features are added. After spending a few months working with the developer, I can happily say support for AquaticCrates gets a 5/5 from me as well. If you have a question - ask them in their discord!

The dev is consistently putting hours of work into this project & keeps us updated along the process via Discord, which is very helpful as well.

Even if you don't use custom models, I'd highly recommend this plugin. Stop torturing yourself with restrictive, confusing and linear crate systems. <3

Looks like one of the best Crate plugins on the market right now and doesn't have any bugs. In the future I would like to see some placeholders about crates, for example how many keys a player has, how many times they have opened a crate etc.

Well put together plugin, aesthetic animations 10 out of 10 and easy to understand. I needed a tutorial for the first crate, but after that it is easy to reproduce it yourself.

Good plugin for sure, fairly easy to configure, has a ton of options, and the cinematics and Oraxen/IA compatibility is super good.

Unfortunately though, virtual keys do not work in the latest version, and have always been bugged/dupable in previous versions. This has gone on for a whiiiile. The developer still hasn't gotten around to fixing that, so a bit of false advertising there. If your server relies on virtual keys, do NOT purchase until a fix is published.

I finally found the plugin i was looking for, others paid creates plugin offers super basic animation with low compatibility with other models and i CANT user external items, the plugin has both of this features and more, like the reward rerolling and super cool animation

The plugin does what it is supposed to do. Personally, I believe there should be some randomness to the rolling time periods. Unfortunately, the plugin's documentation is incomplete, so you will have to join the Discord server to ask questions or search the channels for information.

Cool plugin, but I've reported that virtual keys duplicate on server restarts 7 months ago, and I've checked in and asked again for it to be fixed every month or 2, and this issue still exists. If you need virtual keys for this plugin, you are out of luck. They multiply x2 for all players every time your server reboots.

I think that aquatic crates is one of the best crate plugins to buy as it utilizes models properly and isn't a company based plugin were the owner just takes the cash and has others do all the work

I rarely write any reviews, and especially hardly any negative reviews, however this time I will write a review because there are some caveats about how this plugin is advertised and how the average rating on spigot is obtained.

First of all, the plugin author offers incentives for writing a review which leads to biased reviews.
Players will only receive access to the 'free' advertised crate models of this plugin after they have written a review for this plugin. ( https://imgur.com/a/ZfXaP1w)
So, first point is that these crate models are not free, since the purchaser has to write a review first. ( https://imgur.com/a/UdFaC5V)
It is already pretty questionable to give incentives to write reviews, since respectable companies like google, trustpilot, and tripadvisor prohibit companies to provide incentives as this may bias the results.
Another reason why the reviews do not reflect a correct rating, is that the purchasers require these models to test the plugin (or purchasers have to fix their own models, but hey, that is not something the average Joe can/will do, just to test the plugin).
Therefore, there is no way that the purchasers are able to have a good view about the plugin at the moment they have to write the review. The reviews are therefore biased.

Secondly, the plugin is advertised as 'supporting Itemsadder and Modelengine'.
The fact is that the plugin does not support Itemsadder and Modelengine, but it REQUIRES these plugins.
The only way how this acquatic plugin works without Itemsadder/Modelengine, is that the crate becomes a barrier block ( https://imgur.com/a/MbWlCKK). How can this be considered as 'working'?
Players cannot even see the crates. I don't think how a crates plugin can be considered to be working.
(Also on the wikipage, which I read before purchasing this plugin, it is stated that 'Itemsadder/Modelengine' is optional. ( https://imgur.com/a/NbQ9zPE))

So in fact, I am just tricked to buy this plugin, by the biased reviews and the wrong description.

And no, I am not willing to receive a refund, and I won't chargeback neither. My only goal is to warn possible future purchasers about these practices.

This crate plugin is very extensive and is astounding with it's models! Highly recommend if you are planning on adding your own custom models. :)

What a unique plugin. Something way different in visuals than other crate plugins. Of course this combined with models may give the server that kind of depth you may seek. It is however quite difficult at first setting up a crate, but you can find the necessary information on their Discord after verifying.

I would say try it out, especially for the price it is quite reasonable.

A recommendation would be to add more specific examples in the wiki for each configuration, now there are only few and very general examples.

Title: AquaticCrates - A (Almost) Perfect Plugin

AquaticCrates is a very beautiful and well-made plugin. You can see that the developer has passion and dedication, as he releases updates and remains active on the Discord platform. In particular, the fact that the developer is honest and openly declares compatibility with ItemsAdder is commendable. I have purchased other premium plugins that claimed to be compatible with ItemsAdder, but they turned out to be scams. Therefore, applause to the honest developer.

However, there is a sore point that needs to be highlighted. The plugin itself is simple and intuitive, but the developer makes it difficult to use. The wiki, for example, is not organized effectively. As soon as I downloaded the plugin, I went into panic mode because the wiki explains everything and nothing. (The plugin doesn't even provide a default crate as an example.) Therefore, you are forced to go onto Discord, which I don't like. Additionally, there are some issues with the plugin's settings. Why did you set the crates to be models? There are people like me who want to use custom blocks, which can be bypassed (even though the plugin doesn't provide this option, so you need to add it). Also, it's not fair to force users to enter your Discord to get information about the plugin. Perhaps you could provide an example of how to create a crate with an effect, because the wiki doesn't even explain how to add the cinema effect, which I paid for. The wiki should be detailed and provide examples of all the model effects.

However, the Discord is managed very well and I received the badge in two minutes. If there is a need for further assistance, you may have to wait a few days for a response from the developer. But if I just purchased the plugin, I would like to use it right away and not have to wait for days to receive information from the developer.

Overall, if I have to rate the plugin, I give it 5 stars because it is wonderful and one of the few well-made ones I have tried. The only effect that I was able to set up is very nice. However, the wiki should be improved and provide more information on how to set up the various effects and particles. Additionally, it would be useful if the plugin also offered the option to use custom blocks, in addition to models. With these improvements, the AquaticCrates plugin could become even better.

If you want animated crates on your server this is the best choice(I don't know if there's even any other sane choice...) Nevertheless its a fantastic plugin fulfilling a much needed function.

Great plugin! Larkyy is very active and has implemented a bunch of things I've asked for.

Completely misleading working versions. I have tested this plugin on versions 1.18+ and they work fine. However, versions 1.16.5 and 1.17 on both Spigot and Paper result in commands not returning any plugin messages or GUIs; simply put: the commands do nothing.

It's absolutely abhorrent that the developer released a "1.16.5 Implementation" while also labelling it as *not tested*. There is clearly no standards to which counts as an "implementation". As a web developer, if I've pushed something that "wasn't tested", I'd get my ass grilled. The developer needs to do better and be a bit more transparent such as the reasoning behind pushing an update that was never tested. The developer needs to do not mislead people into thinking that versions that weren't tested count as an implementation.

Edit: I've decided to edit my review because it was a little harsh. For future buyers: older versions seem to work OK on older versions, but the developer needs to improve upon legacy support or even drop legacy support and don't sell this plugin as if it supports 1.17 or older when you haven't even tested to see if it works at all (especially your newer updates)
