NametagEdit has a brand new codebase and this is currently a beta-test release and please report any issues on our GitHub page and we will take a look at them as soon as possible!

• Bug Fixes
  • Fix tab list setting from incorrectly applying.

• Improvements
  • Brand new plugin! Major improvements throughout.
    • Notably improved time complexity by constant + linear factors
  • Include more messages to show if actions were successful or unsuccessful.
  • If you modify the configuration files or your database and use /ne reload or /reload, the tags load/save properly.
  • Load tags when players join rather than storing in memory
    • memory leak prevention
  • Commands are easier to understand.

• New Features
  • Converter: Easily convert between file and mysql
    • Supports legacy versions of NametagEdit: groups.txt and players.txt
  • Added zPermissions, PermissionsEx and GroupManager for support.
    • If a user changes groups, their tag will auto update.
  • Negating a group is no longer required.
    • Give default group a tag? However, you need to negate the default group before applying to the next group. Not anymore! The permission you set just provide the permission/set to true and it will work!
  • New API and NametagEvent for developers (Work In Progress)

• Notes
  • We have updated our license to GPLv3.
  • This release is for Minecraft 1.7.x and 1.8.x only. Once bugs are ironed out on this build we plan to port it over to support 1.5/1.6 builds.
