This may be the final update that Defenestrate receives. Everything that was planned is now finished. If I think of some other feature to add or some other cool feature is requested, I'll definitely make another update for that, but I can finally say that this project is finished.
Changelog:
- made missing configuration values load defaults
- added option to disallow players from stealing entities and blocks off of others' heads
- this plugin now supports picking up and throwing containers without the items within disappearing
- added block particles to blocks that are being picked up
I'm running out of changes to make. This may be one of the last groups of changes that I make to the plugin (unless someone suggests something cool)
- removed "breakThingsMode" as it had little use after 1.2
- added a configurable maximum block drop time
- fixed block pickup/land sound pitches
- added option for custom sounds
- stopped thrown blocks from entering boats/minecarts
- added option to ignore spawn protection
Changes:
- added customizable blacklists for blocks and entities that should not be able to be picked up
- stopped blocks from being picked up in adventure mode
- made improvements to the tab autocomplete system used in the /dsettings command
- added a plugin version checker
Important info:
The blacklist by default contains entities that can't ride, and blocks that shouldn't be able to be picked up by players. This used to be a hard-coded list that was checked in the code, but is now checked based on a list in the config file, so you will have to regenerate the default config if you want to generate the default lists.
Added sounds for picking up and placing thrown blocks, along with fixing several annoying bugs. I honestly don't quite remember the bugs that were fixed, but they were annoying, I promise!
Reuploading to start having consistent naming conventions lol
