This is a beta release of this update, some features may be unfinished or have bugs. Please report any issues you encounter!
It's a bumper update with
a lot of new stuff, and I still have a few features in the works...
Changes in
1.2.0 - BETA 1:
- Added Hybrid Shot type
This adds shots that can trigger other shots as their explosion, allowing creation of larger and more complicated fireworks.
- Added custom physics engine for shots
- Added ability to choose the entity launched for all shots (except particle type)
- Added entity customisation options for shots
- Scale, Rotation, ItemStack, Text/Text colour for Display Entities
- NB. Display Entities only move when custom physics are enabled.
- Added over 2000 new built in shots (these are all Hybrid shot type, and that figure doesn't include the 1600+ additional shots that are used to create them...)
Primarily a range of larger shells in various colours with different particle trails. And more to follow soon!
- Added ability to insert new cues in the sequence editor, before existing ones. Shift + right click to do this.
- Added ability to bulk-select mortars by shift clicking a folder
- Added option to fire shots/effects at another player
/frw shot fire <shot> atAnother <playerName>
- Added full 360° rotation option for mortar/firing direction, instead of being locked to North/South/East/West only.
- Added support for 1.20 > 1.21.10 (including new particles)
- Fixed the speed control for particles had no effect unless some random speed was applied.
- Fixed trying to change an existing sequence cue to a command did not work.
- Fixed various other errors that crop up occasionally
Work In progress features
These features cannot be accessed in the GUI yet, but can be found in the config files. The format for these features is subject to change and you may have to reconfigure in a future update.
They are used by some of the new built in shots.
- Entity fading system (i.e. display entities can fade in/out by scale and brightness when used as a firework entity)
- Custom sounds system
