I'll preface this with - it is a good plugin. However, it is not user friendly or plug/play like reading the description makes it sound. Especially when comaring itself to mobarena and especially when it isn't free. If you want to use this plugin, you'll need type out all your own scripts - there is no option for automatic waves like mobarena has.

Been using AMA for a while now, integrated it to be a core aspect of my server. It runs flawlessly and doesn't cause any heavy load on the server. NightExpress always produces the highest quality plugins that I usually find myself buying from them just to explore and play with the new plugin even if I don't intend on using it for a server. Never have any complaints.

Don't trust people with 1 star, they simply don't know how to read the plugin's wiki and think a little with their heads. I bought this plugin 3 months ago, after spending a little time on the wiki and creating my first arena - the plugin has become as simple and clear as possible to use. Arenas do not glitch, there are no overloaded useless functions, absolutely everything can be customized and changed to suit you in the plugin! NightExpress is great as always. I recommend to everyone!

dI love this plugin, I will start uploading tutorials in Spanish, the plugin works I have seen 1 couple of bugs and I will comment them by githubs if necessary, I also recommend or I see necessary to update the libs and support nbt of items such as executableitems free, nbtapi and others to avoid failures when taking data.

After updating to version 7.15.0, server players can't do damage to each other and players can't do damage to monsters, fix it and I'll change it to 5 stars

There doesn't seem to be an option to set the items that each monster can drop, hopefully a feature like that can be added

It is a really really good plugin. It works as expected and has a lot of opportunities to configure. I can recommend it above any other MobArena plugin. Support is great, too. Helped me with working with their API to code something. Absolutely worth the money <3

I def do not recommend this plugin. I spent a lot of hours on this plugin over 100 hours easy learning each part bit by bit setting it up and making the arenas in fact i made three very large arenas. There is lots of bugs and issues with the plugin and very poor help when u experience them. When i went to get support which is one reason why i paid for the plugin was to get the support, the dev told me to delete files to fix my issue which didn't work, over a month ago then again today since no reply from previous help request after i told them it didn't work. (Which is all the messages from game that show on screen as titles are errors in chat instead making the game to hard to play as too much text on screen). I explained this error many times to dev, and he ignores me and then makes out like I'm stupid because his plugin isn't working and I'm not doing what he says yet already stated i tried these things and he's not listening, including a fresh install. I have more than enough experience with plugins to know this isn't an issue caused by me not following their instructions to fix the issue, yet they keep trying to tell me to delete files they made that come with plugin and again I have to explain i already followed these steps and because it didn't work, I'm stupid and to him this a joke.
then to make it worse some other helpers come along and just gets smart to me also making out like i stupid because their fix doesn't actually fix it.
Think twice before buying plugin or dealing with the help.
i believe the owner of the plugin just deters people that buy this to make them think there's nothing wrong. even when u show proof. and if what they suggest doesn't work, they just get rude and tell you there not helping u anymore or some other excuse to get them out of helping. what's next for these ppl try make me look bad here too with more excuses.

I appreciate the developer's timely responses to bugs and configuration issues. The plugin can be pretty complex and it's great to have that helpful resource available.

I decided to give this plugin another chance, and this time everything went well. The plugin (mainly the arenas) wasn't easy to setup, but in the end its worth the efford. The plugin itself works great and its a really fun minigame! Hopefully there wont be any "config-breaking" updates in the feature this time. :)
I also had a issue (kicked with error) when starting a game, and they helped me to solve it on their discord. Keep it up!

The plugins cost performance is very high, and if you read the wiki of the plugins carefully, you can get started quickly. The author made it easier for me to achieve the desired effect by reducing the difficulty of configuring each wave of monsters through some unexpected functions... Such a useful plugin and a good plugin developer, I don't understand why some people say that the support of the author is so poor, in fact the support of the author is very quickly in place, hope to do better!

Support is great if you are capable of reading through the wiki and trial and erroring this plugin. Once you get the hang of it, it's really powerful and has given me tons of ideas for projects that are completely possible. If you want support, join the Discord, but don't expect an answer, especially if you haven't carefully read and re-read how this plugin works.

Bad support, after almost every update you need to completely re-configure your arenas! Its horrible! Instead of just migrating/upgrading the configs automatically, you have to setup everything all over again, NOTHING is usable! If you ask for support you just get trolled and they tell you to just do it over again and read the wiki. DONT BUY!

Not sure why this plugin has so many bad reviews. The plugin works well and has so many awesome features that no other mob arena plugin can do. Its fairly easy to set up as long as you read the tutorials on the wiki. Developer fixes issues fast and responds to questions usually within a day.

This is the best mob arena plugin out there.

I just asked a simple question if the Developer could update the Plugin to support 1.8 or if he could just simply tell me what release I have to download for a 1.8 Server. Great plugin, 0 problems. VERY EASY config. Literally was plug and play. I'm not sure how other people have a problem using this.

Having owned this plugin for several years now, it has always seemed so promising yet so far from being able to use in production...

From the countless issues defining arena regions, attempting to edit confusing config files, to navigating the quite useless wiki, its no wonder despite nearly a thousand downloads, there are only 10-20 active servers running this plugin.

You're better off saving your money and just using the original, free plugin. It lacks the flashy features but, hey, at least it works...

You deleted your answer to my review, in there you were mean. But you also asked, why someone would use a Minecraft Version that came out in 2014. The answer is pretty simple, we don't want to use the stuff the new Minecraft Versions have updated. Mainly the new Combat system. So a lot of people (btw. Every large Server as well, Hypixel, Hive...) use a 1.8 Server Base and make the server joinable with ViaVersion for the new versions.

Could you please downgrade the Plugin to 1.8.8. If that's not possible, could you please make a list which version of your plugin, people that have paid for, can use for the different Minecraft versions?

Be careful, do not buy this plugin!

The support is bad, and you don't have any chance if you ask the developer questions about the plugin. I asked him one simple question via Spigot DMs and he just blocked me... without any response. If you buy his stuff and have a problem you will be left alone.

I used to use this plugin all the time before it's 1.13 release and was hyped! Now that this plugin has been rebooted for 1.14+ AND overhauled, the same hype has return! There's sooooo many new features about this that weren't there before and I'm so stoked to be using this on my server. It makes me so damn happy to see the project has been taken up again!

Great plugin with a lot of customization options and an active and great developer. Really like the in-game and GUI-based setup, especially the "glow effect" applied to spawns and other locations when editing.
I am only giving it four stars as there is a lot of bugs that still needs to be fixed.

New update seems to work so far. Only configured the basics (MySQL connection and such) i still need to configure the arenas. But, because of the author kept his promise by updating the plugin for 1.14/1.15 i think he deserves a positive review! Can't wait to setup some arenas, will try this soon!

If you don't update the versions, could you please link the versions for old Minecraft Releases? Many people need them.

Like mentioned by others, this plugin is not working on 1.14. If u want 1.14 support, wait for the next update - it will be worth it, when it comes. Then i'll remove this review aswell :)

I gave this plugin so many chances. Even when it is fully up to date, it has constant issues / errors / crashes. This one probably needs to be shelved until the devs can clean it up a bit.

For the record though, when it works, it's great.

My players and I love this plugin. The developer is always amazing with fixing bugs and adding new features. They are extremely helpful and I would 100% recommend it. It doesn't really seem the people leaving bad reviews have tried very hard to get any kind of support from the developer.

tested version 1.13 & 1.14 but 1.14 doesn't work. the lobby editor doesn't work at all. Setting regions and other stuff just doesn't work at all. No confirmation messages while setting pos1 and pos2 it's just a massive letdown. hopefully this is fixed soon.

1. Plugin have to much many bugs, example player leaving game have inventory items example "shop" / "exit arena".

Plugin causes my server to lag which is extremely unfortunate... You would expect something better when he dropped support for half of his users.

Waited for the longest time for stability issues to be resolved. Finally started seeing some good activity with the 1.12.2 release sometime around Oct 2017.. A year and a half later 1.12 was dropped and only 1.13 was supported. Most of the best plugins and mods are still only 1.12..Now to have to recreate a server over from scratch when the plugin was still malfunctioning on 1.12... I can appreciate someone wanting to introduce new features... Ver.4 Betas and then Ver 5 betas.. Straight on to 6..
I think I had the plugin disabled to to bugs longer than I was able to use it.

Tested Version 6.0.3 on a 1.14.2 server. It works!!

Note to owner: Spigot plugin "Better Enchantments" breaks the lobby inventory selection items. I will be switching to a premium enchanting plugin, hopefully it also does not break it.

I'm in love with the actual plugin and idea, but there is not a very good guide to each feature and function of the plugin. For example, under mounts, and pets, what are the parameters? They don't spawn at all, and I'm unsure if that's my fault on setup, or a bug. There is no wiki that can help me, and the guide above doesn't go into further detail outside of, "manage other arena settings."

Plugin seems decent when I started to use it, however I started to run into issues and broken features and the developer didn't fix them and dropped support for 1.8 - 1.12 instead.

This is a fantastic plugin. It has a super well made GUI with many features. It is definitely worth the money and adds a whole new aspect to the server and it's super super easy to use. I just wish the developer had a discord to centralize support and updates as this is a major part the plugin is lagging.

Even on 1.13 it has problems and sadly dev dropped the support for 1.12.2, that still plenty of bugs..
Hhe stated that for 1.12.2 users we, that doesnt want to upgrade to 1.13, they could still using 4.4.2 but.. as you can see in discussion, 4.4.2 still with lots of serious problems..

So we dont have nor a stable 1.13 nor 1.12.2

Probobly works like a regular mob arena plugin but the Mythic mobs aspect doesn't work what so ever. if i knew that i wouldn't have bought this.

Excellent plugin! I love this developer, all of its plugins are really great, interfaces very easy to use and they are really great for RPG servers and MMO: I recommend this plugin because there is really everything to make the best PvE arena! The only flaw is that we can not make different waves between each arena ... but the rest is so great that the plugin still deserves five stars!

Well developed, easy to use and stable plugin. The only issue I had was the arena regions not registering, but there was no hassle adding the coordinates to the config file.

Having a horrible experience with this plugin. Huge bugs everywhere. (Including kicking players 70% the time a game starts, players losing their inventories, players keeping the items from the arena, etc.) Reached out to the developer WEEKS ago saying they'd look into it. I never received a status update or any further help. I'll delete this review if I can actually get this plugin to work.

Really great mobarena with awesome support from the developer! Highly configurable and works well with other mods.

This developer is really active and hard working. I like the frequent updates made to his plugins and his ability to answer questions.

I must say its rare to come across a plugin that covers all the bases. if you are looking for a PVE plugin, then spend the 4 bucks and use this one. Its simplicity itself to create an arena and the features this guy has added to the plugin is exceptional. you can upgrade you weapons and Armour IN THE ARENA as you earn coins.

Everything is configurable, kits, waves, items in the shop, all of it. a great effort and well worth the money. players don't need to type commands, they just click a sign.

You can have pet wolves or even ride a horse into battle. I haven't uncovered all of the secrets yet, but IO felt from what I've seen, this plugin rates a comment.

This is the complete package. I recommend this to any server owner.

Didn't want to work on my server. Tested on clean instance of a server with just few essential plugins (Vault, Essentials, PEX, etc) - also didn't work. In the end, tried it on completely clean instance of the Spigot 1.11, again didn't work. Posted issue in discussion, waited almost 3 days, got no answer.

Everything works besides the shop part of the plugin. Other then that this is a decent plugin to have for your server.

I don't know why author set the price to $5. This plugin deserves more. great arena plugin, highly customizable, surprisingly easy to use ( must have taken good amount of time to implement this ) , maybe some bugs, but will update soon. 10/10

Why don't work signs????? anyone can't use signs for join in arenas and i can't make one i will see tutorial and i can't can you help me?

Very Cool Plugin, but I have a big problem... Server Version 1.8, if I join an arena nothing happens. Sometimes if the countdown works I'm standing in the arena and that's it. There are no Waves. No Mobs, no Scoreboard, nothing...
Can somebody help?

Great plugin. Way better than the original Mob Arena. Definitely worth the money. Very organized plugin and easy to understand. Not to mention the tons of features! I recommend this plugin to everyone!

Amazing plugin! Love 100% everything about it! I encourage everyone who wants a mob arena plugin to switch to this! It's amazing 100% worth the money. Only thing i would like to change is the prefix. and have it as /ma join <arena> and the prefix in the messages to Mob arena! :) other than that it's 100% worth the money. it's a must buy for a survival / PvE / Skyblock server.

If you are giving out servers that use this plugin. Please put mc.coracraft.net ( it's version 1.11 ) on the server area :P anyway. Amazing job keep it up!

AdvancedMobArena is a really well-made plugin. Developer is very friendly and faster then any developer I ever saw. Plugin works fine and is really really advanced. Good work by an amazing dev. 5 stars and a must-buy!

The recent verion is very buggy! sometimes the plugin works after 10000s of updates it breaks, then it works again and so on! im getting tired of this! and im wondering if the plugin even gets tested before versions are published. i would prefere less updates but working versions!

Really good plugin. Everithing is so easy to config, but I've found (maybe) a few bugs.
In the arena I (OWNER of the server) cannot fin out the way to set the money reward per mob.
And another bug is, when players join in the lobby, their tag disappear.

The plugin looks very good, but the arenas are not working, even if yous et all the spawns and toggle it on it won't work even after a kit selection in 1.8 , please fix it, thank you.

So far, the plugin seems to work fine. Only the Lobby items like "Kit selector" etc. dont work if i click on a block. they only work when i point to the sky.
