Lorax is a modern, up-to-date, and simple custom trees plugin!

We use Easy Trees ( https://www.planetminecraft.com/data-pack/easy-trees-4562308/) for the actual trees, while this plugin does the generation.

You do not need to install the Easy Trees datapack on newer versions. The plugin does this automatically.
