This plugin adds a virus system that allows you to catch, spread, and cure the most deadly viruses throughout history. Most notably right now, COVID-19. Viruses such as this can be caught my interacting with animals, mobs, other sick players, or by eating raw or odd foods.

Beware, once you are infected, it spreads through the air to other nearby players. Your only hope is to either get some health potions and let it runs its course, or build a vaccine for it. A warning though, you could easily die before the virus runs its course, and some viruses have a 100% mortality rate.

Not hard enough? Too easy for you? Disable virus removal on death and force your players to die over and over of the COVID-19.

Getting Started:

Start by crafting a few syringes:


Next, you will need to right-click on a creature such as a zombie to collect some blood from it. Keep at it until you get a syringe with DNA in the blood.

Now take that blood and toss it into a full cauldron heated with fire to purify it.


This will use up the water and give you a purified vial of blood. It will show you the virus(s) and cure(s) the purified blood contains.


Now you can craft some research notes on this virus:


RIght-click the notes in your hand to spend levels researching. Each time you click it will take away a level and raise the progress of your notes.

Once you complete it you will get a virus formula with info on it:


Now you can use this formula to craft a vaccine and sneak + right-click to inject yourself to gain protection from the deadly virus:


You are also able to make a VDV (virus dispersal device) instead of a vaccine if you like.


Make Your Own Viruses:

This plugin comes with some great customization features that allow you to create new viruses or edit the current ones. All you need to do is hop into the config, then copy one of the viruses and paste it with a new name.
