Teleportals -----

build end gateway portals in survival mode

The download link is for Minecraft version 1.16.x, 1.15.X, and 1.14.x. (It will not work with 1.13.x or below!)

Description
Teleportals allows players to create their own End Gateways. While this is not incredibly useful with commands such as /tp or /warp , it can be a nice enhancement to more vanilla or challenge-based survival or RPG worlds. It essentially makes teleportation an expensive, late-game feature.

Creating the Teleportal
  • The Teleportal is constructed by creating the structure shown in the picture above: an obsidian block atop an Ender chest atop another obsidian block.
  • To activate the Teleportal, turning the Ender Chest into an End Gateway, you will need to craft a Gateway Prism. This is a new item added by the plugin, with the crafting recipe shown in the image above. (the recipe may be customized in the plugin's configuration file) Here is the default recipe as a table:
    Code (Text):
    ender_pearl   | dragon_head | ender_pearl
    shulker_shell | end_crystal | shulker_shell
    gold_ingot    | beacon      | gold_ingot
  • To use the Gateway Prism, first link it to the destination Teleportal by shift + right-clicking it. Then, activate the entrance Teleportal by right-clicking it. The Gateway Prism is consumed when you activate a Teleportal. This is all shown in the video below:

  • Notice that, in order to use a Teleportal, you shoot an Ender pearl into it as if it were an End Gateway. You will need two Teleportals in order to teleport between them, and it will be a one-way trip unless you can link both sides with multiple Gateway Prisms.

Commands
The plugin's commands are listed below.
  • /teleportals - The root plugin command. Shows help and information.
  • /teleportals reloadconfig - Reloads the plugin's config file. Requires teleportals.admin.reload to use.
  • /teleportals spawnitem - Gives yourself a new Gateway Prism. Requires teleportals.admin.spawn to use.
Permissions
The plugin's permissions are listed below. Wildcard permissions are supported. For example, teleportals.admin.* grants all admin permissions. The permission teleportals.player.* is given by default.
  • teleportals.admin.spawn
  • teleportals.admin.reload
  • teleportals.player.craft
  • teleportals.player.link
  • teleportals.player.activate
  • teleportals.player.use
Additionally, you can define a permission group by using the node teleportals.group.<name>, where <name> is defined in the config. See the configuration file for available permission group limits.

Additional Info
There are no dependencies.

IMPORTANT! The plugin creates invisible armor stands for the portals. As such, performing the command /minecraft:kill @e will render all your teleportals inert. Please consider not killing off your armor stands if you decide to use this plugin! If you're worried about this kind of thing, logging plugins should already be your best friend.

If you appreciate this plugin, don't forget to leave a review! Thanks =)
