About compatibility and support:
I do not support plugin versions other than the latest one.
Only Spigot and PaperSpigot from 1.13 to 1.19 are supported, you can use forks but full compatibility is not guaranteed.
Due to personal circumstances, I am not able to work on this plugin as much as I would like to. You should not expect new features coming soon, or small bugfixes; the only circumstance in which I will definitely update the plugin is if there is a duplication glitch or similar.

Introduction:

BSB or BetterShulkerBoxes allows players on your server to open a shulkerbox while holding it, so they can open a shulker box, for example, in a protected area.

Features:
More ways to open a shulkerbox:
You can right-click them while holding them or inside your inventory to open them.

100% Customizable:
You can customize open and close messages and sounds, inventory name, cooldown. Hex colors are supported.

Dupe protection:
If a duplication glitch caused by the plugin is found, the vulnerable version will be added to a list. The plugin periodically checks this list to see if you are running a vulnerable version, and if so, it disables itself to prevent players from exploiting the bug.

Custom inventory names:
You can choose the inventory name for shulkerboxes, you can also use %shulker_name% to use the shulkerbox's name in the inventory name.

Sounds:
Ability to enable/disable and config the sound that is played when a player opens/closes a shulkerbox.

Items saved as metadata:
Better Shulker Boxes doesn't store the container inventory in a file, as other plugins do (i.e. playervaults). All items are stored inside the metadata of the shulker box; this means that if you uninstall the plugin, nothing will be lost.

Free and Open Source Software:
Better Shulker Boxes is free and open source (AGPL-3)

Permissions:

bettershulkerboxes.*: Grants all permissions (Recommended for admins)
bettershulkerboxes.use: Allows players to use the plugin.
bettershulkerboxes.bypasscooldown: Allows players to bypass the cooldown (Recommended for exclusive ranks).
bettershulkerboxes.admin: Allows the player to reload the configuration, check for updates manually and be notified of new versions.

Commands:
/bsb - Shows the version of the plugin and the help menu.
/bsb reload - Reloads the config.yml.
/bsb check - Check if you are running the latest version available.

Disclaimer:
Better Shulker Boxes uses bStats to collect statistics, it does not send any sensitive/personal data and it is completely anonymous.
The data collected is limited to:

Server statistics: Player amount, online mode, Minecraft version, software (spigot, sponge, etc).
Hosting statistics: Number of cores of the CPU, system architecture, operating system, server location (by country) and java version.
Plugin (BSB only) statistics: Plugin version, some configuration parameters.

I understand privacy concerns and if you don not want to send any data at all, set 'enable_statistics' to false in config.yml inside the plugin folder.
