This plugin goes "ding" whenever a player logs on or chats.

I sometimes leave Minecraft running on my PC, not to play, but just to chat with friends who stop by. If I'm not at my 'puter, I needed a way to let me know someone joined the game or chatted. So I wrote this quick little plugin.

The plugin will create a .PROPERTIES file the first time it runs. It has two variables: OPSVOLUME and PLRVOLUME. As they imply, you can set the ding volume to be different for players and OPs. Maybe you want it loud so that OPS who aren't vigilantly monitoring the server will be alerted for every little thing. Or maybe you want it quiet for OPs so they can have the server running off to the side and not be a constant annoyance. Up to you...

To install this plugin, copy the plugin JAR file to your server's plugins folder.
