NordicRPG [25+ Shouts] [Dragon Riding] -----

Shouts like from Skyrim!

NordicRPG brings fantasy-adventure mechanics to your Minecraft server! High configurability and frequent updates make it a must-have for any RPG server!

One Thing To Note
This plugin has a few requirements. Make sure to read that section before downloading!

Another Thing To Note
Some shouts don't have Particle Effects yet.
Some Particle Effects are really ugly and need to be improved upon. Feel free to send me suggestions!

Requirements/Dependencies:
Java 16 or higher [REQUIRED]
Spigot Minecraft Server running Version 1.20.4 or higher [REQUIRED]
Vault (and a supported permissions plugin) [Recommended]

Vault allows me to hook into permissions plugins such as PermissionsEx, LuckPerms, and many others. This is what makes WordWalls work. Without Vault, WordWalls will not give players permission to use the shouts they discover.

PetDragon [Recommended]

PetDragon is required for the Call Dragon shout to function properly. Without it, the Call Dragon shout will be disabled.

Commands:
/nordicrpg help - Displays a help menu
/nordicrpg shouts - Lists all the shouts in the plugin
/nordicrpg update - Checks for an update
/nordicrpg version - Displays the current version

Current Shouts:
For shouts targeting other players or entities, they must be somewhat close. The plugin won't let you set someone on fire from super far away!

All words are configurable, but the default ones are listed here as well.

Alessia's Love

You share the life force of the target for a short time. You become virtually invincible, however if any harm comes to the being who's life you share, the same harm shall come to you.

One Word (joor): 30 Second Effect
Two Words (joor gevoth): 60 Second Effect
Three Words (joor gevoth pahvoth): 90 Second Effect

Animal Ally

Summons wolves to fight by your side for 60 seconds.

One Word (raan): One wolf
Two Words (raan vikaar): Two wolves
Three Words (raan vikaar fahdon): Three wolves

Aura Whisper

Locates nearby Players.

One Word (laas): Within 25 blocks
Two Words (laas yah): Within 35 blocks
Three Words (laas yah nir): Within 45 blocks

Battle Fury

Enchants a weapon in your hand with Sharpness III.

One Word (mid): 10 Second Effect
Two Words (mid vur): 20 Second Effect
Three Words (mid vur shaan): 30 Second Effect

Become Ethereal

Take on an ethereal form, and take no damage from any sources. However, if you harm anything, you will return to the physical realm.

One Word (feim): 8 Second Effect
Two Words (feim zii): 13 Second Effect
Three Words (feim zii gron): 18 Second Effect

Call Dragon

Summons a Dragon for you to ride.

One Word (od): No effect
Two Words (od ah): No effect
Three Words (od ah viing): Summons the Dragon

Clear Skies

Clears the skies of all rain and storms.

One Word (lok): Clear skies for 15 seconds
Two Words (lok vah): Clear skies for 30 seconds
Three Words (lok vah koor): Clear skies until a new storm comes along

Disarm

Your shout staggers the target, causing them to drop what is in their hand.

One Word (zun): Pushes the target back a little bit
Two Words (zun haal): Pushes the target back a little more
Three Words (zun haal viik): Pushes the target back even a bit more

Drain Vitality

This shout feels like being stomped on by a Giant, instantly draining the target's energy.

One Word (gaan): The target is starved, and thus unable to sprint.
Two Words (gaan lah): In addition to starving, the target has the wind knocked out of them. If they are underwater, they will begin drowning.
Three Words (gaan lah haas): In addition to starving and being out of breath, the target takes a small amount of damage from fatigue.

Elemental Fury

Your shout empowers you with the fury of the elements for a short time.

One Word (su): Haste for 5 seconds.
Two Words (su grah): Haste for 10 seconds. Strength for 5 seconds.
Three Words (su grah dun): Haste for 15 seconds. Strength for 10 seconds.

Fire Breath

Spittin' fire... literally. Set your target on fire.

One Word (yol): 2 Second Effect
Two Words (yol toor): 3 Second Effect
Three Words (yol toor shul): 5 Second Effect

Frost Breath

Your voice is as cold as ice, slowing down your target.

One Word (fo): 5 Second Effect
Two Words (fo krah): 10 Second Effect
Three Words (fo krah diin): 15 Second Effect

Healing Spirit

This shout has a healing effect, instantly healing all damaged entities nearby.

One Word (vahraan): Heals 2 hearts
Two Words (vahraan kopraan): Heals 4 hearts
Three Words (vahraan kopraan hah): Heals 6 hearts

Ice Form

Your shout acts as a freezing blizzard, freezing your target solid for a short time.

One Word (liz): 5 Second Effect
Two Words (liz slen): 10 Second Effect
Three Words (liz slen nus): 15 Second Effect

Kyne's Peace

Your voice calms all Monsters, temporarily ensuring they do not attack you.

One Word (kaan): 30 Second Effect
Two Words (kaan drem): 60 Second Effect
Three Words (kaan drem ov): 90 Second Effect

Marked For Death

This shout carries with it the smell of death, and poisons the target for 8 seconds.

One Word (krii): Poison Level 1
Two Words (krii lun): Poison Level 2
Three Words (krii lun aus): Poison Level 3

Phantom Form

Your voice conceals the depths of your soul, granting invisibility for a short time.

One Word (nahlon): 10 Second Effect
Two Words (sah): 20 Second Effect
Three Words (nusaan): 30 Second Effect

Return

Your shout brings you back to where you once were.

One Word (nahl): Teleport to the world's spawnpoint
Two Words (nahl daal): Teleport to your bed
Three Words (nahl daal vus): Teleport to your last death location

Riftwalk

Your spirit takes you to the Nether Roof, where every block you travel is eight blocks in the Overworld. When your time expires, you return to the Overworld, having moved proportionally to your movements in the Nether.

One Word (raf): 10 Seconds in Nether
Two Words (raf ru): 20 Seconds in Nether
Three Words (raf ru maar): 30 Seconds in Nether

Slow Time

Your voice tears the very fabric of time. All entities close by are given slowness and you are given speed.

One Word (tiid): 15 Second Effect
Two Words (tiid klo): 17 Second Effect
Three Words (tiid klo ui): 20 Second Effect

Storm Call

Your shout calls upon nature to unleash her wrath, causing a thunderstorm.

One Word (strun): 15 Second Storm
Two Words (strun bah): 30 Second Storm
Three Words (strun bah qo): 45 Second Storm

Throw Voice

Your voice confuses Players around you, as they hear a voice in the distance.

One Word (zul): Affects Players within 10 blocks
Two Words (zul mey): Within 15 blocks
Three Words (zul mey gut): Within 20 blocks

Tornadic Jump

This shout propels you quickly into the air, without fear of fall damage when you fall back down.

NOTE - Some Anti-Cheats may falsely flag this as flight

One Word (morwuld): Jump ~10 blocks high
Two Words (morwuld lokom): Jump ~30 blocks high
Three Words (morwuld lokom vok): Jump ~60 blocks high

Unrelenting Force

Your voice pushes with great strength, forcing your target back.

One Word (fus): Push the target a little bit
Two Words (fus ro): Push the target a medium amount
Three Words (fus ro dah): Push the target a great amount

Whirlwind Sprint

Your shout propels you forward like a furious whirlwind.

Permissions:
nordicrpg.shoutname.one - Allows first word of a shout
nordicrpg.shoutname.two - Allows second word of a shout
nordicrpg.shoutname.three - Allows third word of a shout
(For example, nordicrpg.unrelentingforce.one would allow "fus")

nordicrpg.cooldown.bypass - Bypass shout cooldown (ops do not have this permission by default)

nordicrpg.wordwall.create - Allows the creation of Word Walls

nordicrpg.help - Allows /nordicrpg help
nordicrpg.shouts - Allows /nordicrpg shouts
nordicrpg.update - Allows /nordicrpg update
nordicrpg.version - Allows /nordicrpg version

Word Walls:
Word walls are signs that can be right-clicked by a Player to learn a word from a shout.

You can create a Word Wall by making a sign that looks like this:

(Replace "Fus" with whatever word you want to learn from that wall).

Metrics:
This plugin uses bStats to take Metrics. It takes anonymous data about the server to help me understand how the plugin is used and better improve the plugin. If you don't want this to be used, you can disable it in the '/plugins/bStats' folder, although I recommend you leave it enabled.
