Protect Plugin – Minecraft 1.21.*+
Protect is a simple yet powerful plugin that allows server admins to block unwanted commands, hide them from tab-complete, and give staff full control over permissions and logging.

Features

• Command Blocking – Prevent players from using restricted commands configured in config.yml.
  
  
• Allowed Commands – Certain commands can bypass blocking for OPs or specified allowed commands.
  
  
• Tab-Complete Hiding – Blocked commands will not appear in tab-complete suggestions for non-OP players.
  
  
• Custom Messages – Configure messages for blocked commands and unknown commands.
  
  
• Plugin Info & Reload – /protectinfo shows plugin info, /protectreload reloads the configuration.
  
  
• Logging – Optional console logging for blocked command attempts, fully configurable.

Permissions

• protect.reload – Allows reloading the plugin configuration.
  
  
• protect.info – Allows viewing plugin info.

Installation Guide

1. Download the plugin jar
   
   
2. Place the jar file into your server’s plugins folder.
   
   
3. Start the server to generate the default config.yml.
   
   
4. Edit config.yml to set:
   • blocked_commands – Commands you want to block.
     
     
   • allowed_commands – Commands that should always be allowed.
     
     
   • blockedcmd – Message for blocked commands.
     
     
   • unknowncmd – Message for unknown commands.
     
     
   • logging.enabled – Enable or disable console logging.
5. Restart or reload the server (/protectreload) to apply changes.
   
   
6. Optional: Assign permissions to staff as needed.
