INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

PREREQUISITES:
• Minecraft Server (Paper, Spigot, or compatible version)
• Java 17 or higher
• Server with proper permissions configuration (optional, for permission-based features)

INSTALLATION STEPS:

1. DOWNLOAD THE PLUGIN
• Download the HoloFX plugin JAR file (holofx.jar)
• Ensure you have the correct version for your Minecraft server

2. INSTALL THE JAR FILE
• Stop your Minecraft server
• Navigate to your server's "plugins" folder
• Place the holofx.jar file in the plugins directory
• Example path: /server/plugins/holofx.jar

3. CONFIGURATION
• Start your server to generate default configuration files
• Configuration files will be created in: plugins/HoloFX/
• Review the generated configuration files (if needed)

4. PERMISSIONS SETUP (Optional)
• If using a permission plugin (LuckPerms, PermissionsEx, etc.):
• Grant the following permissions to administrators:
- holofx.use (All HoloFX commands)
- holofx.create (Create holograms)
- holofx.edit (Edit holograms)
- holofx.remove (Delete holograms)
- holofx.list (View hologram list)
- holofx.settings (Access settings interface)
- holofx.summon (Summon hologram)

5. RESTART SERVER
• Restart your Minecraft server
• The plugin will load automatically
• Check server logs for any initialization messages
