What is JoinEffect?

JoinEffect is a cosmetic plugin supporting Minecraft versions all the way from 1.8 to 1.19.3* (see update notes). Currently this plugin supports adding / removing potion effects upon joining your server, ability to spawn a firework on player join, and a few other goodies.


Features...

• Add any type of effect to a player
• Add a effect for a certain amount of time
• Add strength of effect to a player
• Clear all effects upon join and then re-add enabled potion effects (configurable)
• Fireworks upon join
• Enable or disable particle effects

How to install...

1. Download JoinEffect.jar
2. Place jar file in your /plugins/ folder
3. Reload/Restart your server
4. Edit config to your liking
5. Allow proper permissions to proper groups
6. RESTART your server

02/15/2023: Tested using reload (rather than restart) - seems to be working fine
