Beacon Control is a fast-paced PvP event plugin built for Minecraft SMPs and minigame servers.
Players form teams with unique names and colors, then fight to control a central beacon by placing their team’s stained glass above it. As long as their glass is on top, their team earns points every second. PvP is fully enabled, so strategy, teamwork, and combat skill all play a role in staying on top.
The plugin handles everything automatically:
- Prevents beacon griefing and duping exploits.
- Creates the beacon with a 3×3 emerald base for a proper beam.
- Tracks team points live on the scoreboard with a countdown timer.
- Shows which team members belong to which team using prefix tags (e.g., [BlueTeam] Player).
- Cleans up at the end of the match (removes beacon, glass, emerald base, teams, scoreboard, etc.).
- Announces the winners and lists all team members when the event ends.
It’s lightweight, server-friendly, and designed to keep SMPs active with structured PvP events.
