VanillaPlus is a feature-rich plugin designed for Spigot and Paper servers. It enhances the vanilla Minecraft experience by introducing new mechanics, custom items, and survival-friendly features. The plugin is fully customizable, allowing you to translate all messages and item names via the lang.yml file. By default, the plugin is in Ukrainian, but an English translation is available on GitHub.

The barrel fermentation mechanic is one of the most exciting additions to VanillaPlus. Players can use barrels to ferment honey into a unique fermented honey drink. This mechanic introduces a new layer of survival gameplay and resource management. Players place a barrel, open its inventory, and add honey bottles. After closing the inventory, the honey is confirmed. To start fermentation, players hold sugar in their main hand, crouch, and right-click the barrel. A hologram timer appears above the barrel, showing the remaining fermentation time. Once the process is complete, players can collect the fermented honey bottles, which are custom items with unique effects. The fermentation process is accompanied by particle effects. Witch particles indicate active fermentation, while happy villager particles signal that the process is complete.

The axe tree chopping mechanic has been improved to provide a more immersive experience. Players can chop down entire trees by breaking a log with an axe while holding SHIFT. The number of hits required depends on the type of axe being used. Visual particles and sounds have been added to provide feedback during the chopping process, making the mechanic feel more dynamic and engaging.

The fishing net mechanic allows players to craft and throw nets into water to catch fish and rare loot. A hologram above the net displays the progress of the catch. Players can retrieve the net early by using SHIFT and right-click.

The fish drying rack mechanic lets players build drying racks using tripwire to dry fish or poppy, which is used for tobacco. After a set time, players can collect dried products, adding a new layer of resource management to the game.

The sand sieve mechanic allows players to construct a sieve using scaffolding and trapdoors. Players can right-click the sieve with sand or gravel to filter and receive random drops, making resource gathering more interesting.

The birch sap collection mechanic lets players collect birch sap by placing a tripwire hook on a birch log. After a delay, players can collect the sap with a bottle and drink it for random effects, adding an element of surprise to the mechanic.

The stonecutter mechanic has been expanded to include new recipes and functionalities. Players can convert logs into sticks, turn wool into string, and break ice into snowballs. Tools can be sharpened to restore durability with a chance to enchant them. Sharpening tools includes cooldowns and a chance for the tool to break, adding a strategic element to the mechanic.

Other mechanics include using flint on stone to create sparks and possibly start a fire. Bonemeal now affects a three-by-three area, making farming more efficient. Cigarettes and energy drinks provide unique effects, enhancing the survival experience.

All plugin messages, item names, and lores are configurable in lang.yml. The plugin supports easy translation to any language.

The /vanillaplusreload command reloads the configuration and language files. It requires the vanillaplus.reload permission.

To get started, place the plugin jar file in your server's plugins folder. Start the server to generate the lang.yml file. Edit lang.yml to customize or translate messages and item names. Enjoy the new mechanics in your Minecraft world.

Duplicate method issues have been resolved. The logic for onBarrelInventoryClose has been consolidated into a single method. Honey validation has been improved to ensure barrels only contain honey bottles during fermentation. Persistent data key handling has been improved to ensure compatibility with older versions. Feedback messages have been added at every step of the fermentation process, ensuring players understand what to do next.

Support for additional barrel recipes and integration with other mechanics, such as aging barrels for different effects, is planned for future updates.
