LightningDeath
LightningDeath is a simple Minecraft plugin that triggers lightning or various effects at the location where a player dies. It’s highly configurable and easy to use.

Features

• Summon lightning or other custom effects when a player dies

Configuration
The plugin uses a simple config.yml file with the following options:

message: '&8[&e&lLightning&6&lDeath&8]'
death-effect: lightning # Options: lightning, explosion, fire, smoke, none
enable-death-message: true
death-message: '&c{player} has died by the wrath of lightning!'
Commands

• /ldr — Reloads the plugin configuration on the fly
  Requires permission: lightningdeath.reload

Permissions

• lightningdeath.reload — Allows a player to reload the plugin config

Installation

1. Download the plugin .jar file and place it in your server’s plugins folder
   
   
2. Start the server to generate the default config
   
   
3. Customize config.yml as desired
   
   
4. Use /ldr to reload the config without restarting

Compatibility
Tested on Minecraft 1.17 and above. May work on older versions but not guaranteed.
