What Is Chat Guard?

Chatguard is an advanced chat filter, anti spam and automod plugin. Words can be added to the filter in config or in game. As well as smart filtering which checks to reduce false positives. Chatguard works with all major server plugins including essentials chat, towny, lands, lpc and local chat plugins. All features can be configured and disabled.

Installation

1. Download Chat guard and place it into your server plugins folder
2. Start the server
3. Add the permission to your staff group / individuals

You will need a permission manager plugin such as luckperms.

For Auto-Punish, you will need a ban plugin such as essentials, litebans or advanceban

Permissions and Commands

• chatguard.admin - add and remove words to filter in game.
  
• chatguard.notify - Recieve notifications of players attempting to use blocked words
  
• chatguard.bypass.filter - bypass for chat filter
  
• chatguard.bypass.slowmode - bypass for slowmode

/filter add <word> - adds words to the filter
