BetterTorches is a simple, lightweight plugin that allows players to share light sources which they hold. Similarly to Optifine, when the player holds a torch, a light source with a value of 10 will be emitted from the player's head level; how ever, everyone is able to see this light source as it is server side instead of client side, like Optifine.
