Ever wanted to make that mob farm just a bit more quiet? Maybe that redstone contraption has one too many pistons?
The BeQuiet! plugin adds a sound block to your server that, within the set radius, allows you to modify how far sounds are quieted. Obtain a sound block by running the "/bequiet" command, with the respective "bequiet.admin" permission node, and place the block down. Shift right click to increment the radius, and watch it work wonders!
There are five config.yml values:
- block_type: modifies the sound block material.
- min_radius: modifies the minimum radius that a sound block can quiet sounds.
- max_radius: modifies the maximum radius that a sound block can quiet sounds.
- block_name: modifies the name of the block in your inventory. Supports the MiniMessage format.
- prefix: modifies the prefix that shows up in chat whenever running a BeQuiet! command. Supports the MiniMessage format.
Since this plugin messes with incoming packets to the client, it currently relies on ProtocolLib. Please make sure you have it installed before reporting that the plugin isn't functioning.
Do keep in mind that this plugin is still a work in progress. This plugin was tested only on 1.21.4 (and will always natively support the latest Paper stable release), but may work on 1.20.x.
