Command Commands -----

Create your own custom commands, which will execute your command creations!

This plugin allows you to create your own custom commands, which can execute commands like /trigger. If you want to create a server, which only relies on vanilla commands, but you don't want to use /trigger, for everything, or you just want to implement a command fast and effortless this plugin is for you! Autocomplete is also implemented.

How to install:
You just need to put the .jar-file in the plugins folder and it's done. You don't need any additional software to run this.

Permissions:
You can specify which permission is needed for each command and even for each argument. There are the five vanilla permission levels, which are the same as in the "ops.json"-file ( Permission level – Minecraft Wiki). Where zero means that everyone can use it and four is the highest permission level (Wiki: "Owner").

Config file and reloadOnUse:
To create your own commands you have to know where to define them. This file is the "config.yml"-file located under " .../plugins/CommandCommands/config.yml". In this file you can also enable the "reloadOnUse" variable. Set "reloadOnUse" to true only if you wish to edit the "ops.json"-file on a live server. Setting this to true may cause lag on large servers when using custom commands! Also worth mentioning is that Minecraft itself reads this file only on startup. So changing the "ops.json"-file may cause problems with normal commands until a restart!

Defining Commands:
The custom commands are defined after the "commands" key. You have to put the name of the custom command first and then define it. Use "level" to define the permission required to perform this command as written above. You can execute multiple commands, or a single command. To execute multiple commands, just write them in a list form. Use "cmd" for the commands. If you want to have arguments, use the "next" key and use the same formalities as described for all arguments. Note that no "level" parameter means the argument inherits the same permission as the last argument. If the root has no "level" defined a level of zero is assumed.

Example:
upload_2025-3-9_3-13-55.png

This creates a /spawn command, which can be used by everyone to teleport to a location. To define the location, you must have level four permission. You can use /spawn sethere to set the spawn location.
