If you are not using Paper, you need to manually provide the net.kyori.adventure API. If you don't, the plugin will not work.
If you are on Paper or on of it's forks, the plugin will work out of the box.

The plugin should also work with lower versions, but only 1.20.x and 1.21.x is tested.
