User Guide: How to Use the Missions Plugin
1. Adding the Plugin to Your Server
- Download the plugin JAR file from the provided source
- Place the JAR file into the plugins folder of your Minecraft server directory
- Start or restart your server to load the plugin
2. Editing and Customizing Missions
- After the first server start with the plugin, a folder named MissionsPlugin will appear in the plugins directory
- Open the folder, and you will find a missions.yml file
- Edit the missions.yml file using any text editor (e.g., Notepad++, Sublime Text, or Visual Studio Code)
- Follow the structure in the file to add, modify, or delete missions:
- Each mission must have a unique ID
- Define the mission name, description, type, target, amount, and rewards
- Save your changes to the file
3. Reloading the Plugin
· If you edited missions.yml while the server was running, reload the plugin using the command:
/reload confirm
· Alternatively, restart your server to apply the changes
4. Managing Missions
- Use the /missions command in-game to view all available missions and your progress
- Use /missioninfo <MissionName> to see detailed information about a specific mission
5. Supported Mission Types
- BLOCK_BREAK: Break specific blocks
- MOB_KILL: Kill certain mobs
- ITEM_PICKUP: Pick up items
- ITEM_CRAFT: Craft specific items
- TRADE: Trade with villagers
- CATCH_FISH: Catch specific fish
- BREED_ANIMAL: Breed specific animals
- ENCHANT_ITEM: Enchant specific items
6. Advanced Tips
- Adjust mission rewards and difficulty levels in missions.yml to suit your server's style
- Ensure correct YAML syntax when editing missions.yml to avoid errors on reload
