Animatica Reborn will animate your builds using a frame-by-frame system. You create the frames, Animatica animates them for you. Forwards, backwards, it can do it all.

This plugin allows for the creation of moving structures, from time-lapses of houses to complete working windmills. This plugin is easy to use and a tutorial is included on this page.

Features
  • Animate your builds! You are now able to create working windmills, make cars drive through your streets or create time-lapses of houses you have build.
  • Efficient! In contrast to previous versions, this plugin only stores changes in the .yml file. Meaning the file sizes are orders of magnitude smaller, allowing for much larger animations.
  • Modes! Play animations forwards, backwards, switching or repeating.
  • Intuitive! Simply read the tutorial below and you'll quickly understand how this plugin operates. It will not be difficult at all.
Commands
All commands are applied to the animation you have currently selected. Select an animation with /an select animation_name. So if I have animation 'test' selected you can use /an play to activate it.

/an: Gives you a full overview of the commands.
/an wand: Gives you the wand using which you can select an area. Similar to WorldEdit.
/an new <animation_name>: Creates a new animation.
/an delete: Deletes the selected animation.
/an select <animation_name>: Selects animation for future use.
/an list: Shows a list of all animations.
/an frame add: Adds a new frame to the animation. All blocks in your selection will be saved. However, if you make multiple frames, only changes are saved, making it incredibly storage efficient.
/an frame editor: Shows a visual editor where you can insert frames, delete frames and see how many changes were made in each frame.
/an frame insert: Inserts a new frame before the selected frame. Use /an frame editor to enter the menu where you can select frames.
/an frame clear: Clears all frames from the selected animation.
/an play: Starts selected animation. Use this command to start an animation!
/an reverse: Allows you to set the animation to play in reverse. Run again to make the animation be normal again.
/an interval <time>: Allows you to set the time in ticks between frames of the selected animation.
/an tp: Teleports you to the selected animation.
/an selection: Updates the selected area for this animation, meaning all blocks within the selected area will be part of new frames.
/an mode repeat: Sets the selected animation to repeat when finished.
/an mode switch: Sets the selected animation to switch to reverse when finished. When finishing in reverse, will switch back to normal and repeat.
/an mode stop: Sets the selected animation to simply stop when finished. This is the default mode.
/an pause: Pauses the selected animation.
/an resume: Unpauses the selected animation.
/an stop: Stops playing the selected animation.

Chunk Activators
Chunk activators are specific chunks added to an animation that, when loaded, will trigger the animation. When unloaded, they will stop the animation. If you add the chunk the animation is in and set the animation to repeat you will have an animation that always runs.
/an chunk add: Add the current chunk you're in to the list of chunk activators for the selected animation. Use f3+G to see chunk borders.
/an chunk list: Shows a list of all chunk activators added to the selected animation.
/an chunk remove: Removes the current chunk you're in from the list of the chunk activators for the selected animation. Use f3+G to see chunk borders.

Command Blocks
You can control Animatica Reborn using command blocks. Here are the commands. The other commands do not work in command blocks and these commands do not work outside of command blocks.

/cmd_animatica play <animation_name>: Starts an animation via command block.
/cmd_animatica stop <animation_name>: Stops an animation via command block.
/cmd_animatica pause <animation_name>: Pauses an animation via command block.
/cmd_animatica resume <animation_name>: Resumes an animation via command block.
/cmd_animatica reverse <animation_name> <reverse?>: Reverses or unreverses an animation via command block. Use true or false for the final argument.
/cmd_animatica interval <animation_name> <interval>: Sets the delay between frames in ticks for an animation via command block.
/cmd_animatica mode <animation_name> <mode>: Sets the mode for an animation via command block. Use 0, 1 or 2 for the final argument. 0 is normal. 1 is repeat. 2 is switch.

Tutorial
This plugin is very easy to use. Here's a step by step guide on how to animate, for example, a cobblestone pillar:

Step 1:
Write the command: '/an wand' and use this wand to select the corners of the thing you want to animate. A particle effect will show your selected area.

Step 2:
Write the command: '/an new wobblemonster' to create a new animation called 'wobblemonster'.

Step 3:
Place the thing you want to animate in its starting position and write: '/an frame add'. This will create the first frame.

Step 4:
Now move the thing a little and repeat the command (/an frame add). Move it again and repeat the command until you're done. It's like stop motion!

Step 5:
Use '/an play' to play the animation!

Made a mistake? Use /an frame editor and right click the wrong frame, deleting it.

Thanks!
