Short description: This plugin adds a
system of temperature. Players may overheat or freeze to death if their equipment does not provide enough protection from the elements.
Biome temperatures: Biomes were split into cold, neutral and hot biomes. each has its own temperature, which impacts the player. Neutral biomes are vanilla-like, but cold (such as taiga) or hot (desert, messa,jungle) require that players wear appropriate clothes.
Elements protection: Each armors set (iron, gold, diamond, chainmail, leather) provides different protections. Administrators may also configure custom armors sets, based on item custom names, with their own properties (example in configuration file).
Sureanding interaction: During
nighttimeenvironment temperature tends to get lower and during
day higher. Plugin also detects strong heat sources (campfire, fire, lava) and weak (lantern, torch) to better adjust the impact of surrounding temperature on the player.
Also the plugin detects if the player is outside, or in shelter (such as hause). In cold biomes, shelters provide additional protection against cold, and tend to stabilize the player's body temperature (need to heat the space with a heat source such as furnace or campfire). In hot biomes, shalters tend to protect players against the sun.
To provide immersion,
during rain player will get
wet. If his/her clothes soak up, then protection against cold shall be lowered, but against heat increased.
