Race to complete tasks before your opponents in Lockout!

Participate individually or team up to finish tasks faster than everyone else! Once a task is successfully accomplished, it becomes exclusive to your team, preventing others from completing it. Secure control over the majority of the board to claim victory!



Usage

• Use "/lockout compass" to give yourself the selector compass.
• Right click compass to select a team before the game starts.
• Extra teams can be created with /lockout team <name>. The item in your hand will determine the item shown in the team selection menu.
• Use "/lockout start" to begin the game.
• When the game has started, right click compass to view tasks.
• Left click the compass to change your currently tracked player.
• End the game early with "/lockout end". This will also give a new set of tasks for the next game.

Gameplay

• Completing tasks will give both a point and a reward, but some tasks you may wish to avoid!
• If one team maintains a substantial lead to the extent that no other team can complete all remaining tasks while surpassing their score, the game concludes.
• If the game timer runs out, the team in first place wins.
• If the game timer ends with a tie, then the first team to complete the tiebreaker task(s) will win.

Permissions
By default only a server OP has access to commands. This can be changed with a permission manager plugin such as LuckPerms or in config.yml.

• "lockout.start" -> Start the game with /lockout start
• "lockout.end" -> End the game with /lockout end
• "lockout.team" -> Create a custom team with /lockout team <name>
• "lockout.select" -> Select a custom task list (if any more are available).

Config
Settings can be changed in the config.yml file located in the plugins data folder where the settings are explained.

Custom tasks
This plugin supports a wide range of custom tasks which can be scripted in a ".tasks" file. If there is any interest, I can create documentation for making custom tasks or release completed task/reward scripts.

Important:
This plugin is intended to be used on its own server as a minigame and should not be added to an existing survival server.

Currently compatible with Spigot/Paper version 1.20.x.
