A Minecraft plugin based on the Chinese fantasy genre known as Xianxia. It adds a progression system known as "cultivation" to the game, as well as unique items and commands. It allows players to use unique attack, movement, and defensive abilities depending on their progression.
Adds multiple paths to cultivate. Kill certain mobs to obtain a manual and left-click with the manual in your hand to use it. 2% drop chance. Manuals can also be read as a guide, but refer to this guide for more up-to-date information as the manual text has not been updated yet. Paths include:
Gluttony: Obtain by killing pigs.
Ice: Obtain by killing strays.
Fungal: Obtain by killing mooshroom cows.
Iron/Martial: Obtain by killing iron golems.
Lightning: Obtain by killing creepers.
Phoenix/Fire: Obtain by killing blazes.
Poison: Obtain by killing cave spiders.
Space: Obtain by killing endermen.
Speed/Demonic: Obtain by killing zombified piglins and/or normal piglins.
Vampire/Demonic: Obtain by killing villagers.
Each manual has its own stats (attack, defense, qi regeneration) and technique types. They are RELATIVELY balanced, but they all have different playstyles. Some can be considered OP if they are used correctly. Each stage increases your attack and defense by 2-6 points depending on the manual. Qi regeneration is percentage-based and is fixed depending on the manual. Qi doubles every stage. The higher your stage, the more techniques you have access to and the stronger they are.
Each manual has its own method of cultivating (increasing your level to move up in stage). Once you get to the peak of your stage (shown by your percentage next to your stage level being near 100), you need to meet certain criteria to break through. Each manual has its own criteria.
To cultivate:
Gluttony: Eat any food.
Ice: Eat ice blocks (while holding it in your hand)
Fungal: Eat suspicious stew.
Iron/Martial: Eat iron ingots.
Lightning: Eat copper ingots.
Phoenix/Fire: Die with experience levels on you.
Poison: Eat poisonous foods (spider eye, puffer fish, poisonous potato).
Space: Eat chorus fruit.
Speed/Demonic: Eat cookies in the Nether.
Vampire/Demonic: Harm villagers or kill players with cultivation.
To breakthrough:
Gluttony: Eat any food while on 0 hunger.
Ice: Be near placed blue ice blocks. Amount needed doubles every stage.
Fungal: Be near a Mycelium block.
Iron/Martial: Be near placed iron blocks. Amount needed doubles every stage.
Lightning: Be near placed copper blocks. Amount needed doubles every stage.
Phoenix/Fire: Die with LOTS of experience levels on you. Experience level on death must be above 10*Stage.
Poison: Be in a swamp biome.
Space: Be near placed shulker boxes. Amount needed doubles every stage.
Speed/Demonic: Be in the nether near placed cake. Amount needed doubles every stage.
Vampire/Demonic: No breakthrough requirement.
The magic system runs on Qi. Qi doubles every stage, and each stage is exponentially harder to achieve. Qi is used to power techniques. Each technique has its own Qi cost depending on the manual and the technique. The commands to cast the techniques are the same for every manual, but they are expressed differently depending on the manual. They also get stronger the higher you go in cultivation stage.
QiPunch: Note that each manual has different Qi costs per punch due to the power difference in some techniques.
Gluttony: Increased knockback per stage. Increases with stage.
Ice: Inflicts freezing effect. Duration increases with stage.
Fungal: Punch a block while active to turn the radius into a mushroom theme. Radius increases with stage.
Iron/Martial: Large increase to damage. Increases with stage.
Lightning: Lightning strikes target. Increased damage. Increases with stage.
Phoenix/Fire: Sets target on fire. Damage increases with stage.
Poison: Causes poison and nausea effects. Duration increases with stage.
Space: Causes target to get randomly teleported in a small radius. Radius increases with stage.
Speed/Demonic: Increased damage per stage.
Vampire/Demonic: Heals you a small amount.
QiMine: Gives haste effect. Increases 1 level every 2 stages but caps at 4 due to breaking at higher levels.
QiMove: Note that Qi costs are Qi over time for some manuals and Qi per right click for others. If it is a right-click type then you need to hold something for it to work. A stick, weapon, or any item will work. Effects of all the techniques increase with stage.
Gluttony: Take no knockback.
Ice: Ice surf. Shift to temporarily stop.
Fungal: Turn invisible while near mycelium.
Iron/Martial: Dash. Mostly forward momentum, but spamming will let you hover. Must be holding an item (like a stick or weapon) in hand.
Lightning: Lightning dash. Near instant movement but less distance.
Phoenix/Fire: Dash. A lot of upward momentum. Must be holding an item (like a stick or weapon) in hand.
Poison: Dash. Mostly forward momentum, but spamming will let you hover. Must be holding an item (like a stick or weapon) in hand.
Space: Teleport in the direction you are looking. Must be holding an item (like a stick or weapon) in hand. Be careful not to suffocate.
Speed/Demonic: Increased speed.
Vampire/Demonic: Dash. Mostly forward momentum, but spamming will let you hover. Must be holding an item (like a stick or weapon) in hand.
QiAura: Changes the blocks around you into a thematically appropriate block type in a spherical radius. Those blocks are indestructible to players. Greatly increases attack and defense. Gives thematically appropriate particle effects. Not completely finished. Radius increases with stage. Effects increase with stage.
General Effects and Immunities: Some manuals give effects like resistant to certain types of damages. Here they are:
Gluttony: Almost always a little bit hungry (still gives saturation though).
Ice: No damage from freezing.
Fungal: Do increased damage when near mycelium. No Qi cost.
Phoenix/Fire: Fire immunity. Not immune to lava though.
Poison: No damage from poison.
Vampire/Demonic: No breakthrough requirement.
Another useful command is
/detonate. This is a suicide method that can only be used when at full qi. It causes an explosion. Higher-stage players cause a higher explosion. Pheonix/Fire cultivators' detonations leave fire in the resulting crater. Lightning cultivators' detonations cause lightning to strike once along with the explosion.
