Dragon-Fly is a plugin that I wrote for the Enhanced Survival server on ResoluteMC. Dragon-Fly is not like any other plugin out there, Most "fly" plugins simply set the players flight mode and allow-flight to true and thus flight is infinite. Dragon-Fly on the other hand keeps the survival feel of the game with adding in a cost to flying.

Dragon-Fly has a built in Administration system that allows your staff to control and monitor everything about the plugin and even has a really nice built in help menu, Staff with the correct permissions can check to see who is currently flying, Toggle a players flight, Fly using the built in free admin-fly and more. See the "Permissions?" section for more detail on what each permission does.

Dragon-Fly is fully customizable, you can change everything about the plugin including what material is being used for fuel, How long each piece of fuel lasts, how the chat messages look and much more. With the built in chat manager every message that is sent by Dragon-Fly can be configured and thus allows it to work with any chat plugin out there.

Dragon-Fly is fully permission based. Every permission node is listed inside of the config.yml which means that you don't need to hunting for a permission node on a website or wiki. Every command inside of the plugin has it's own permission node, This means that you can give your moderator rank the admin fly permission and not have to worry about them reloading your config files, Toggling your players flight for no reason, etc. Below is a list of each permission node and what they do.

dragonFly.Use > Grants access to /fly command

dragonFly.Fuel > Uses fuel blocks to fly (The player must also have dragonFly.Use)

dragonFly.NoFuel > Free flight (The player must also have dragonFly.Use)

#Admin Permissions
dragonFly.Admin > Grants access to /dragonfly commands (All admin commands start with /dragonfly)

dragonFly.Reload > Reloads the plugin (You must also have dragonFly.Admin)

dragonFly.Adminfly > Grants access to use the free adminfly command (You must also have dragonFly.Admin)

dragonFly.Toggle.Others > Ability to toggle other players flight (You must also have dragonFly.Admin)

The idea for this plugin was not originally my own, I was looking for a way to make fly in survival that wasn't just infinite but had a "cost" to it. I remembered back in 2016 I had a server and used a plugin called BlazeFly (Found on bukkit here > https://dev.bukkit.org/projects/blazefly) this plugin had the concept of fly for the cost of fuel. Since this plugin is no longer being updated and there isn't any others out there, Dragon-Fly was born.
