Netherite is the most recent and the strongest vanilla material for tools and armor, but it provides only minor perks beyond diamond.

This plugin makes netherite much more worthwhile.

While wearing a full netherite armor set, you will gain an additional level of fire and explosion protection in addition to protection from enchantments.

This provides greater motivation for upgrading to netherite.

The exact protection values are configurable. Default multipliers are 0.75 for fire damage and 0 for explosion damage. With the default configuration and the best enchantments, it is possible to swim in lava by balancing out the damage with recovery from full hunger!

In addition, dropped netherite items are explosion proof and dropped netherite items will not be lost to cacti either!

With this plugin, it is very valuable to upgrade items to netherite, but it also comes with the downside that wearing an elytra makes it so you do not get the enhanced protections, as a full set of the armor must be worn.
