If you want to update the plugin, I would highly recommend deleting all files related to this plugin. The plugin is still in active development and I'm still changing the configs & languages. So if you run into issues with a newer version please try removing all files and restarting the server first.

Errors can't get fixed unless I know about them. Please report them on the discord, the github issues page or the discussion page. But not the comments.

This plugin is created with the intent to have fun. You can ask random questions in chat whenever you want, you can enable or disable rewards for guessing correctly!

Fully customizable language support! Add your own language, change the in game text just slightly in the same language, all customizable to your liking.

There is a toggle-able leaderboard to see who has answered the most questions correctly.




There are currently 5 types of questions.

• Custom Question
• Math Question
• Type Question
• Shuffled Question
• Acronym Question

A custom question is a question that you can create yourself in the dedicated file in the config. You can add as many custom questions as you want! The plugin is programmed in a way where the chances of repeating the same questions are as slim as possible.


A math question is… as you've guessed… a question about math! You can specify if it should be a plus, minus or multiply question. Or, of course, a random one out of the three. You can set number limits and other neat changes in the config.

A type question is where you have to type a certain word as fast as possible! The word gets posted in the chat and the first one to say it out loud wins. You can add custom words to this list in the config file.


A shuffled question is where a word gets shuffled, and posted in chat, the first one to decipher the word wins. The words used in this function can be specified and added to in the config file.


An acronym question is where an acronym gets posted in chat and the first person to say what it means out loud wins! The acronyms can be customized in the config file and can be customized.



In the config file you can change a lot of stuff about the posting of random questions, you can enable and disable certain questions if you don't like them and more.




Easy to use menu for choosing the exact question you want to ask in chat!


Choose the exact question you want to ask, or a random one. You can also use the chat commands if you dont feel like going through a menu each time. The entire system is made to be as easy to use as possible.

Rewards are fully customizable in the config files. And if you don't want any rewards, you can disable them. You can create multiple rewards and the plugin will give out a random one to the smart winner, this way its not always the same. But if you want it to always be the same you can. This mod also supports Vault! So you can reward players items and money!
You can also use custom commands as rewards for integration with for example crate plugins, to give the winning player a chance at winning a crate key.

All commands have easy to understand auto completion, so if you ever forget any, just press tab a few times

• /quizwins <player> = Shows how many wins a player has.
• /quizleaderboard = Shows the top leaderboard.
• /shinyquizes reload <topic> = reloads all or a certain topic.
• /shinyquizes askQuestion <questionType> = Starts a question in chat.
• /shinyquizes askRandomQuestion = Starts a random question in chat.
• /shinyquizes leaderboard = Shows the top leaderboard
• /shinyquizes wins = Shows how many wins a player has.
• /shinyquizes cancelQuestion = cancels the active question.
• /shinyquizes menu = Opens the shinyquizes menu.
• /shinyquizes = Opens the shinyquizes menu.
• /quiz = Opens the shinyquizes menu.

• ShinyQuizes.reload = Reloads the plugin.
• ShinyQuizes.QuizWins = See how many questions you've won.
• ShinyQuizes.QuizLeaderboard = See the question leaderboard.
• ShinyQuizes.askQuestions = Manually start a question in chat.
