VoteMod -----

Allows users to whitelist and ban people from a server through a voting system

This plugin requires online-mode, VAULT and a permission manager that can respond to offline player permission lookups such as LuckPerms.

How many times have you had it? You have a Minecraft server and ask your newly invited friend to join too. You tell them the IP, they log in, and-- oh, yeah the Whitelist. And to make matter worse the Admin is offline, so you can't ask them. VoteMod fixes this issue by allowing standard players to vote on certain things.

For example, if you want to kick a player from the server, then start a vote ban! Or if you want to whitelist or pardon someone start a vote to whitelist them and remove them from the ban list.

Installation
  1. Download and place the VoteMod.jar into the plugins directory/folder on the server
  2. Make sure you install the Vault Spigot plugin by placing the jar in your plugins directory
  3. Download a permission plugin that supports offline player permission lookup. For example: LuckPerms.
  4. Your server HAS to be in online mode

Commands

/newvote ban {playername} - Ban and kick someone from the server

/newvote pardon {playername} - Whitelist and unban someone from the server

/votemod list - list all the currently ongoing votes

Permissions
votemod.vote : Allows player to participate in voting

votemod.bypass : Stops a player from being allowed to be voted on

votemod.delete : Allows players to delete one vote

votemod.clear : Allows players to delete all votes

Note that if a vote expires or is cancelled by an administrator, then the player will be added to an immune list where they cannot be voted for a certain amount of time. The time can be configured in the config file.

Customizing
VoteMod allows you to customize every aspect of how it functions. For example you can choose how long it should take for a vote to expire, how long it takes for a ban to expire, and how many players are required to be online for you to be able to vote.
To see the full list of customizable settings open up the config.yml file.

Please keep in mind that VoteMod is in early access and your input would be appreciated, to open an issue please go on the GitHub page.
