Discord Spigot Update Bot is a simple standalone Discord bot (NOT a Minecraft plugin) that you can use to get notified about plugin updates on SpigotMC. It was intended to be used by plugin authors to notify their users about updates, but it can also be used by server admins to know when they can update one of their plugins.

Usage
Run the bot using Java 8 or higher:
On first startup, the bot will generate three config files and shutdown again. Adjust at least your bot-token and channel-id in the discord.yml file. You can obtain your bot token in the Discord Developer Portal (join my Discord if you need help). Now you can add plugins to the plugins.yml file, then start the bot again.

Available arguments:
--debug Raises the log level

Additional Features
Discord Spigot Update Bot can also warn you if a plugin has been deleted from SpigotMC. If you are a plugin developer and only want to use the bot to notify your users about updates, you won't need this and can disable this in the config.yml, but it's pretty useful for server admins using the bot to get notified of potentional malicious plugins. This embed is of course 100% configurable, too!
