I don’t typically write reviews, but it frustrates me when users leave one-star ratings simply because they didn’t read the documentation or ask questions beforehand—that's truly unfair.

AdvancedCrates is, without a doubt, one of the best crate plugins currently available in the "Premium" category. Up to the date of this review, I’ve encountered no issues whatsoever. Whenever I had questions and reached out through Discord, I consistently received prompt and helpful responses.

The plugin’s performance has been flawless in every aspect I’ve tested.

Without hesitation, I’m giving it a well-deserved five stars.

Support is really slow, still waiting a reply after days..... and i still have the issue with the plugin.

Absolutely horrible plugin riddled with bugs. i joined the discord server to get support which is where i learned how horrible the staff team is. DO NOT BUY THIS PLUGIN! It will be a huge waste of your time and money. all the plugin creator cares about is money but this plugin should not be premium with the amount of issues they have, how horrible the staff is, and how many plugins exist out in the world. I recieved better help from other plugin users before i was ever reached out to by any staff. and when the staff did reach out all they care about is me verifying my purchase. So when staff sent me that response i responded noting the fact that the community has alredy helped me with my issue faster than they were able to. thats when the admin aloy said "we dont help anybody who has not verified. if you arent verified the only people who will help you is the community. he then proceeded to help a non verified player in the open discord chat. proving that he only intended to be rude with his inital statement. overall worst crate plugin out there. and i used to use customcrates xD

Waited way too much for support on the discord, had to discuss with pings to get faster answers, besides that, the help was there, all my issues got fixed and im able to use the plugin now, 4/5 because of the support that could imo be better but besides that its a good plugin, even if it would be good to have a customer channel to discuss with other customers

the plugin has some flaws and lack of functions, but the worst of all is the support via discord which is very slow, I've had an open ticket for days and no answers

Disappointed by this plugin. It is advertised as a powerful and customizable crate plugin but it lacks some core features you'd expect in a premium plugin (MySQL syncing for crate keys and other crate data for starters). While the animations are certainly cool, there is friction getting it set up. The plugin feels messy overall. We purchased this plugin but regret it.

A perfect plugin to give those premium tier crates seem premium.

Plugin has served me well for a good year and have only good opinions about it. Plugin gets frequent updates, is kept up to date, basically all that you would expect and ever need from a plugin of this quality.

If you are wondering "can this plugin do this" - its almost always yes.
Just recently I was wondering about a feature and the dev told me that the feature already existed, which is just 10/10 for me, what I'm trying to say, it has a lot of features and allows for a lot of customizations.

Been using it on 1.16 and now on 1.21 and had no issues, plugin is stable and has good performance

Not worth it, the plugin will disable it self if you have some players (I just have 3 players in a test server) and the plugin disabled saying I need an enterprise license, the problem about this is that is not mention anywhere in the plugin event in the wiki, I don't set 0 start because it doesn't let me.

I used to use the plugin on my 1.16 server, then switched to 1.21.1 and had no issues at all, the plugin works flawlessly like always, it's really great and is an ultimate addition to any server !

A great optimization that significantly improves the performance of Itemsadder and other plugins, providing a smoother and more efficient experience.

What an amazing plugin! I had a few errors in the beginning, but PM2 is pretty fast at replying and fixing the issues. I don't know why other people are so negative. Normally, responses don't take longer than 2 days, as they have personal lives as well!

The plugin has severed me well, offered things (animations & simple config)
Then came 1.21 - I ran all my server on a new updated few issues, that were quickly fixed, then transferred to live server...

The issue came when trying to add items and change things into crates

To solve the crates plugin even thought it claims 1.21 compatibility: I have had to add a new plugin, with apologies to players
** I cannot edit item in crates, remove works add does not.
** I cannot change animations (unless new crate)
This is not 1.21 compatible
worked fine on 1.20.4

Does not work with 1.21.1, multiple errors, please update to the latest MC.........

developer is almost as lazy as i am when it comes to support, other than that, great plugin!

This is the worst paid plugin I've ever used. I hope everyone doesn't waste money on this plugin. If you can accept the following points, then you can proceed with the purchase this plugin.
1. After purchasing this plugin, you will need to bear any issues yourself, as the developer will hardly provide any assistance. The developer won't respond to any of your questions, not even symbolically.
2. You may encounter many configuration issues, such as accidentally giving too many rewards to players, leading to server inflation.
3. You need to be prepared for bugs at any time, and you may have to restart the server to restore normal operation.
4. If you run this plugin on another machine, meaning you've added this plugin to hosts with different IPs, congratulations, you won't be able to run this plugin anymore, and no one on Discord can help you, which means your money is wasted.

* Due to this issue, I shut down my server and waited for a response from the developer, but after a week, there was still no response.

Plugin is advertised to work for 1.21 but it's horribly messy, constantly spams the console with errors and I have reported it on the discord but I have not received an answer yet.

Good Plugin, but the Support answered after 2 Weeks. So I only can give 4 Stars.

The plugin itself works fine and performs as expected. However, the support is lacking. I asked a question and received no assistance after two weeks. Due to the poor support experience, I can only give this plugin two stars.

The plugin is good to a certain extent; when it bugs, it can be discouraging, but at least you try to use and configure it. The plugin itself is 50% yes and 50% no, but at least it gets updated, which is appreciated. The support isn't very good, but they try. Overall, looking at it this way, it's not that bad, but it has its ups and downs.

What is wrong with the crate saving? Half the time it does not save the crate.yml file and you lose the entire crate unless you rename it to something like tester then the .yml appears.

What is there to say?
- Support ticket opened since April 16 and we are May 25 only answer received are false/not possible with current plugin
- Reroll feature only for Animation Crates. Why?
- Can't bulk open a crate with NoAnimation but can with an animation. Why?

When configuring the plugin it truly feels like PM2 only added certains features only for the purpose of marketing. It's not truly coherent and support is pretty much non-existent.

Well, overall, it is a working Crate plugin. But don't trust the description. You will not get every feature of it.
Don't expect any support after purchase. You got to do everything on your own. If the plugin works for you, then you're lucky. If not, you wasted some bucks.

<3 they will provide with such an update that you will definitely develop an anxiety problem with plugin updates.

I'm not sure if it's something done on purpose or if they are very distracted, but when one makes the same mistake over and over again, it means they are not paying attention properly. The plugin has errors both in the editor that was requested to be fixed and in the saving of items. I understand the point of adding features, but first, make it 100% stable; the plugin's stability doesn't reach the appropriate quality. The developer is very distant, but the plugin has a good future with proper care.

As you can see I purchased the plugins and I am currently Noxuu_III on the Discord server

In the past i had so many issues with the plugin and there is also a dupe glitch in the newest version (3.9.19). The support is also very slow and a fix can take a few weeks.

There's a massive dupe glitch in 3.9.19 but it seems that nobody cares about it.

This plugin is epic and totally worth the money! We have used it for a long time now in my server and people love to buy crates and get rewards from them.

Few days ago I got a weird bug with one of the features (NPC Crates) and asked for help, and the developer came to the server and gave me a custom solution for my case, since I was the only person having problems with that issue.


Overall, a great plugin, with a great and helpful developer who gives an awesome and complete customer support.

No support! the plugin spawns armor stand that are un named. Made a ticket and still no support on how to fix it

Tickets are waiting 4 weeks sometimes longer before getting an answer or any kind of support.

No changes, not listening to anything, they just do their thing until you write a negative review. I think thats a shame. Get your things together, check my ticket and fix the plugin.

The plugin looks amazing and has a lot of potential. It's too bad that there is zero support for the plugin from the developer. And one of the most important parts of the functionality for a plugin like this (chance) is broken, and has been for a while.
At *this* moment, the plugin is far from Premium-worthy, because it is unusable in terms of what one would usually *use* a plugin like this for. So BUYER BEWARE. You can't get a refund, and will be stuck with a broken plugin, while the dev grabs your money, getting rich while doing nothing like support.
I hope this is a temporary glitch (going by the discord, it has happened before, so it isn't) and the dev will start supporting AND fixing the plugin soon. If/when that happens, I'll update my review.

There were multiple instances where I had questions regarding the plugin and how it works, and every time I had received excellent responses from both the community and the developer.

Same goes for the plugin, completely exceeded my expectations. The plugin delivers everything it shows and much more. The more you keep digging the more you find.

Gotta say, you can truly feel that this plugin is a premium one. Every aspect of it is of another level. You can clearly see when you're using this plugin that a lot of time and love has been given to this plugin.

Plugin works great but getting help for issues is basically akin to driving a car without an engine. like some have said the support is very none existent even tho theres 3-4 staff at any time.Theres more help from actual users then the dev and staff.

The plugin itself is absolutely amazing. The animations are awesome. The crates themselves are very customizable and you can create any type of crate imaginable. The developer support is beyond excellent, I owned this plugin for a while now and have always received an instant reply on discord to my questions, my tickets got resolved in a timely manner within the same day every time.

You will definitely not regret buying this plugin. I'm glad I took my time to look into this plugin.

As expected, still no support, tons of bugs, wiki is incomplete and doesn't show the correct information, wouldn't recommend using this plugin at all.

The plugin itself is okay, but not when it comes to their supporting discord especially when you have to report a bug. I'm waiting for a couple of weeks now for a respond on my ticket where I filed a really necessary bug that needs to be fixed asap. I'm curious how this plugin brings out updates daily as their discord server really seems dead. Why are you not listening to me nor helping me to fix this issue?

I hope you get your stuff together and start to listen to your customers. I'm ready to remove/re-write this review once actions were taken.

I own both of the developers plugins, AdvancedCrates and SpecializedCrates and its crazy what my server looks like right now thanks to these plugins! Both are amazing, with features in like no other plugin. I absolutely love the continued support and new features coming in over all these years, great job!

Of course, I understand everything, but the latest updates just killed the plugin, all the animations flew, 1000 errors, the Contraband chest creates 100000 animations, I understand the developer, he is trying and I will change the review when the plugin works correctly, but I just don’t understand how it was possible to crap like that

This plugin is great, large amount of animations, always update, quick support. The only backdraw is no wiki but it got updated recently.

This is the best plugin that the developer is offering, or actually the best crate plugin on the WHOLE MARKET. Insane what you get from using this, my players absolutely were amazed from all of these animations on my premium crates!

The plugin is constantly updated but the versions are not tested at all, the support on discord is non-existent as it is flooded with the millions of bug reports that are not solved and by the other thousands of guys who do not understand how to set the plugin due to the lack of a wiki .

To all this we add that there are obvious memory leak problems with this plugin, that most of the old animations had problems and that in addition to this before making sure that everything worked correctly the dear PM2 decides to add others to make life worse !

The best thing is that it is literally a treasure hunt to find a version with as few problems as possible, the only ones are those of 2019 when there was still the desire to work, I have reported the problems for this plugin many times in the hope of an answer but it only continues to make it worse.

I opened a ticket telling him that if you open a crate too fast, the floating text (holograms), and particles that you set on the crate will disappear on April 5. Also, he made an update about it, that he fixed it and I tried it out. But it didn't work, and the bug is still there, and after that he didn't update me anymore about it and just completely ignored me.

PROS:
- Animations are amazing.
- The GUI editor is beginner friendly and easy to understand.
- Adding items are really easy.

CONS:
- The currently available animations don't allow you to edit how many rewards you can give, and it legit gives 8 rewards, and if you change the reward to 1 it will only show 1 hologram animation.

- Only Round2 animation supports 1 reward option other than that all the other animations are useless unless you want to give 8 rewards to people in just opening 1 crate.

- There is no wiki for this plugin, you're on your own, if you wanna learn it you have to join his discord server and ask him every time.

- There is no virtual keys placeholder available, and you can only use its built-in placeholder for virtual keys and you can only use it on its built-in hologram, so that means if you wanna use it on Holographic-Display, or put the virtual keys placeholder in a GUI menu like DeluxeMenus you can't do it.

The developer of this plugin was really helpful in finding a solution to the issues I was having with it. His efforts to help you are great and answers any questions you may have about the plugin. 100% recommend if you're looking for a cool crates plugin that's different.

This is my honest review, i see a lot of people saying support is ok and everything, my first interaction after buying this plugin is, the discord is not really usefull, but the creator listen your suggestions and problem, i ask for placeholder to show number of virtualkey you got, in like 3-4 days PM2 add this, i report the bug with Rewars Show, he fix this. Even if the support of discord is like 4/10, if you dig more in plugins you can do everything by yourself, good jobe with that plugin :D !

By far one of the best crate plugins out there. Performance is perfect both on 1.8 (used to run my server on 1.8) and on 1.17. Support is also very pleasing, get responses from the developer very fast. Overall see it as a very unique and great plugin, must have for all server owners! :)

This plugin crashes your server if there are + 10 people or 3 crates of the same type opening !, I tried everything the developer didn't give me any support on discord, after about 1 month I still haven't received answer and my server cannot update to the latest version as this plugin will explode the server because it causes too much lag. Amazing plugin gone bad sadly. keys still getting wiped every server reboot (though new version says this was fixed when its not) , animations getting stuck in the air , support is very low and hard to get responses and kind of left in the dark. i'm happy to retry this maybe in the future but for now its not usable in a server environment.

The Plugin is very good and quite powerful, but the Technical Support is very bad, the information about the Plugin is worse, you are practically alone, so if you buy it, you should know that you will have nothing but the Plugin and that's it.

I cant even say half the plugin doesn't work. The animations work but it gives no reward. Actually some of the animations dont even work as they just spit out error in console. I tried putting in a ticket before writing a review hoping I was doing something wrong but never got a reply. I tried several different versions of the plugin with no avail.

So for now I am saying do not buy or use this plugin. It is a huge scam and doesn't work and the developer/owner will talk all day in his discord but not respond to tickets which is absolutely absurd. I'll be trying to refund this plugin and go elsewhere.

This is a really great plugin! It might be a little pricey but it is definitely worth supporting the creator. The GUI really helps ensure that there is no confusion setting up crates. The animations are insanely creative and fun. This plugin is also super lightweight allowing me to run this on my potato server.

I bought this plugin in august, this is very nice BUT, I pray to get a default GUI Animation like cosmic. And still waiting for the in-game editor (the reason why I bought the plugin) It should be added but already waiting for /:

The plugin is. Is a good alternative to other Case (Crates) plugins. The author is very nice, and also fixes problems quickly.

Looks good but sometimes it can crash server or make an levitate items. Like this plugin but it still need to be upgraded (fixed some bugs and improved some new features).

Great plugin, it's just a must have, literally is one of the best plugins on the market changing the gameplay in the best direction! Developer responds instantaneously and if there are any bugs they are fixed extremely fast (hopefully). Recommend it to everyone!
