We're in the process of reviewing this internally, however most plugins on Spigot have terms of service which state that purchase is final and no refunds, same in this case. This is highly abused by many customers who decide to obtain plugins without having to pay.
In your case, no one told you to purchase any other plugin - we've made recommendations based on your questions. You also blame for hiding configuration somehow - which is all available publicly.
Seems like, from the ticket, you expected a feature to be in this plugin, without researching it in the wiki nor in configuration files, and then when feature is not there (which we are so open to adding new features, this plugin is updated constantly, and your idea sounds good actually) just call our support staff scummy, and threaten with a chargeback, calling us greedy for protecting our work against piracy.

We're more than open to add features you requested, you can ask for them on same platform where the configurations are posted. Apologies about the experience, that it may have not been as expected, but threatening us is not the way to go.
